Kennedale Speedway Park hosted Night 1 of the Summit Sportmod Super Nationals/TX Shootout! Friday’s Super Show featured the IMCA Sportmods and the Factory Stocks! There were 51 IMCA Sportmods and 62 Factory Stocks in the pits. Each class ran a double inverted set of heats with passing points combined. The top 8 in each class are locked into Saturday’s $5,000 to win A mains. Langston Fetty, from, Davis, TX, was your $1,000 to win, $100 to start, Summit All-Star Sportmod feature winner. The Factory Stocks competed in the J COY Plumbing $500 to win All-Star pit crew challenge. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night!

Burleson, TX, Jack Bransom came in second.

Factory Stock Top 8 locked into Saturday's $5,000 A main: Mason Martin, Albert McCall Jr., Cameron Cook, Wayne Melton, Bryce Pritchett, Michael Dabney, Dean Abbey, and Michael Trammell II.
A light rain made for a fast track Friday night.
There were Sixty two Factory Stocks attemping to lock into Saturday's $5,000 A main.
Jackson was the winner of an RC car from HobbyTown.
Racing continues at Kennedale Speedway Park, Saturday, September 12th, with Night 2 of the Summit Sportmod Super Nationals/Factory Stock Texas Shootout! Saturday's Super Show will feature the $5,000 to win IMCA Sportmods, $5,000 to win Factory Stocks plus a complete show for the $1,000 to win IMCA Stock Cars.
