Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the IMCA Southern Sportmod Super Nationals presented by Smiley’s! Saturday’s Showcard featured the $5,000 to win IMCA Sportmods, the $3,000 to win Factory Stock Texas Shootout, plus complete shows for the $1,000 to win IMCA Stock Cars and the Eco Mods. An impressive field of 162 cars were in the pits, including 73 IMCA Sportmods. Ray Kulhanek, No. 21t, from Conroe, TX, was your Sportmod feature winner. Michael Dabney, No. 5x, from Kaufman, TX, was your Factory Stock Texas Shootout feature winner. Demetrius Carter, No. 444, from Alvarado, TX, was your Stock Car feature winner. Seventy three racers were ready to battle it out for Saturday's $5,000 to win IMCA Sportmod Super Nationals.

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the IMCA Southern Sportmod Super Nationals presented by Smiley’s! Thursday night consisted of open hot laps, Smiley’s All Star qualifying heat races, and a BBQ Party in the Pits. Friday night included qualifying double heat races for the Sportmods and Factory Stocks plus a Smiley’s All Star Sportmod Invitational $1,000 to win race. Along with the IMCA Southern Sportmods and Factory Stocks, Friday’s program included a complete Sport Compact show, plus a Factory Stock pit crew challenge. Johnny Torres beautiful IMCA Sportmod held off local Dean Abbey for the win.

Dean Abbey, No. 72, got it together to finish a strong second.

Bryce Pritchett finished third.

The ground pounding IMCA Modifieds returned to Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! Chase Doughty, from Ennis, TX, was your Modified feature winner. Along with the Modifieds, Saturday’s Showcard included the IMCA Southern Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Eco Mods, and Jr Limiteds. Thanks to Photos by Mike for adding $1,500 to the Factory Stocks purse. The race fans enjoyed the Mechanics Race. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday night!
