Champions were crowned at Kennedale Speedway Park's 9th Annual Showdown Saturday night. A large crowd was on hand to watch some exciting racing. Six classes of cars competed for cash and trophies. Kennedale Speedway Park would like to thank all the racers and race fans that came out and made the Showdown a success. KSP will host one more show this year. The Texas Gobbler on November 28. Modified Feature Winner: Matt Guillaume, No. 50, picked up the $1,800 prize for his Modified feature win. Jeff Emerson, No. 35, had a strong run, but Matt managed to get past him for the win. Emerson, settled for second, Justin McCoy, No. 87, was third, Dean Abbey, No. 26, was fourth and John Gober, No. 52, was fifth. R. Martin, M. Martin, Bransom, Carter, and McGaha, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: Chad Wilson, No. 20, ran off with this one. Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was getting close, but settled for second, George White, No. 10, was third, Claud Estes, No. 74e, was fourth and Jeff Emersom, No. 35, was fifth. Debrick, J. Melton, Gloeckler, Parson, and M. Melton, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, was looking great until the final lap. His car broke, giving the win to Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was second, Luke Fritchen, No. 99f, was third, Tory Yant, No. 00, was fourth and Jeremy Carter, No. 12x, was fifth. McCreery, Haney, Cogburn, W. Fritchen, and Young, rounded out the top ten.

Stock Car Feature winner: Dennis Bissonette, No. 07d, held off the pack for the win. Craig Moss, No. 25, was second, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Westin Abbey, No. 12a, was fourth and Ryan Powers, No. r12, was fifth. Kirkpatrick, Jones, Hammond, O'Bryan, and Guillaume, rounded out the top ten. Tewenty-four cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Wniner: Brett McMillin, No. 61,was the feature winner. Marvin Lough, No. 39, was second, Kirk Martin, No. 21, was third, Duane Wolff, No. 10, was fourth and Randy Buttery, No .06 was fifth. Shackleford, Kahanek II, Smitherman, Grogg, and Moss rounded out the top ten.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Jordan Hefler, No. 2j, was the winner. Patrick Bailey, No. 5x, was second, Casey Merrell, No. 141, was third, Jerrett Bransom, No. 29, was fourth and Cameron Cook, No. 04, was fifth. Ten cars started the feature.
