Bo Day was the $3,500 Factory Stock feature winner at the Texas Wild Card Shootout

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the inaugural Texas Wild Card Shootout Saturday night. This was the second of two nights of racing for the Limited Modifieds and the Factory Stocks. Bo Day, No. 4, took home the $3,500 prize in the Factory Stock feature event. Bo took the early lead and lead every lap of the 30-lap feature. Shawn Graham, No., XXX, was a close second, Garret Bayles, No. 58x, was third, Bubba Thomas, No. 21x, was fourth, and Randy Buttery, No. 16, was fifth. R. Powers, L. Hodges, C. Cook, R. Sessions, and S. Hill, rounded out the top ten. Sean Hill was the Hard Charger. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Limited Modified Feature Winner: Tommy Davis Jr., No. 17, make it look easy. Once he took the lead, Tommy took the $1,125 first place prize. Justin Whitehead, No. 36j, settled for second, James McCreery, No. 13j, was third, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fourth and Bo Day, No. 4, was fifth. K. Manning, R. Day, J. Pirkle, T. West, and J. White, rounded out the top ten. Todd West was the Hard Charger. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Non-Qualifier Feature Winner: Trey Smitherman, No. 96, picked up his biggest feature win of his career. Trey was the leader of the pack and took home the $1,000 win. Justin McNeil, No. 189, was second, Tony Juliano, No.8T5, was third, Dylan Moss, No. 33d, was fourth and Jeff Turner, No. 44, was fifth. No. 3, No. 4b, No. 41, No. 112m, No. 92, No. 27, and No. 32a, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

William Gould makes it two Modified feature wins in-a-row at Kennedale Speedway Park

William Gould, No. 60, picked up his second IMCA Modified feature win in-a-row at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Another large crowd watched some exciting races and close to 150 race cars were in the pits. Rounding out the top five in the Modified feature was Matt Martin, No. 11, who came in second, Jack Sartain, No. 47, was third, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fourth and Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fifth.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: Shawn Mize, No. 12, defeated Chipper Wood, No. 47, for the feature win. Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was third, Chase Brewer, No. 99, was fourth and Jason Howell, No. 44, was fifth.

IMCA SportMod Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was the feature winner. Dean Abbey, No. 26, was second, Kevin Rutherford, No. 9, was third, Brad Shirley, No. 00, was fourth and Michael Newhard, No. 14n, was fifth.

No. 53 SportMod was involved in a wreck during a B main.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: Matt Guillaume, No. 50, defeated Tony Anderson, No. 147, for the feature win. Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was fourth and Dennis Bissonette, No. 07d, was fifth. This is Matt's 20 feature win of the season.

Street Stock Winner: Danny Pattat, No. 20b, was the feature winner. Wade White, No. 68, was second, Justin Lamar, No. 121, was third, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fourth and Lane Hanson Jr., No. 5h.

600 A-class Mini Sprint Winner: Logan Scherb, No. 18, was the feature winner. Keith Martin, No. 88, was second, Triston Dycus, No. 1, was third, Zane Lawrence, No. 76x, was fourth and Regan Reed, No. 7, was fifth.

Marshall McKelvey's Mini Sprint caught on fire during the feature race.

No. 3 went for a wild ride during the feature.

Restrictor 600 Mini Sprint Winner: Trevor Goad, No. 4t, picked up his first feature win. Dylan Ramey, No. 7d, was second, Shelbie Goad, No. 18s, was third, Weston Gorham, No. 71, was fourth and Coby Byrd, No. 72b, was fifth.

Jr. Mini Stocks Winner: Race was rescheduled.

The Jr. Mini drivers were introduced to the crowd.

The "Chupacabras" Car Club hosted their ninth Annual Pistons and Paint Car Show in Denton, TX, at the North Texas Fair Grounds. The weather was perfect for this laid back event with over two hundred kool cars, trucks, dragsters and bikes. Pate Swap Meet continues through Sunday

The 38th annual Pate Swap Meet continues through Sunday. One of the three largest swap meets in the country. It was started in 1973 and was originally held in Cresson, TX for 26 years at the Pate Museum of Transportation. In 1998 it was moved to it's current location adjacent to the Texas Motor Speedway. New Years Day Annual Dairyette Car Show

The Concrete Lizards held a fund raiser for James Crawford.

Over two hundred Hot Rods, Customs and Motorcycles braved the cold to attend the Dairyette Car Show. The Concrete Lizards Car Club hosted their annual fund raiser event. This year the Dallas club was raising money for James Crawford. A master painter/pin striper for over 50 years that is battling cancer. All the proceeds, including money raised from a silent auction, went to Mr. Crawford.
