Current Points leader Channin Tankersley, No. 14, picked up his second ASCS Gulf South Region, presented by Southern Trailer Works, win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night at the Waco Metals Shootout. The 2014 ASCS Gulf South Champion started from the sixth position and worked his way to the front to take the $2,000 feature win. Tommy Bryant, Sawblade.com, No. 28, was second, Jacob Lucas, No. 57, was third, Hari White, No. 17w, was fourth and Caleb Martin, No. 51, was fifth. Kulhanek, Lawrence, Ramey, Culp, and C. Estes, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.
It's showtime for the Brandie Jass, No. 24, Sprint.
Michael Lang balanced his Sprint on two wheels.

The 12th Annual Summer Nationals American Sprint Car Series race is at the Cotton Bowl Speedway, in Paige, TX, Saturday, July 23.

Modified Feature Winner: Eric Tomlinson, No. 45, defeated Chad Estes, No. 83e, for the feature win. Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, had a strong run, but settled for third, Johnny Sheets, No. 96, was fourth and Abilene's Josh McGaha, No. 911, was fifth. Grantham, Rutherford, Radcliff, Green, and Goode, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.,

SportMod Feature Winner: Good battle between Gabe Tucker, No. 95, and Sid Kiphen, No. 58. Gabe won out. Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, was third, Steve Hayes, No. 7x, was fourth and Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was fifth. T. Green, T. Florio, Geurin, Holder, and C. Florio, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Dillion Smith, No. 03e, won another one. Andy Roller, No. 63, was second, Eric Jones, No. 84x, was third, Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, was fourth and Flyin Ryan Powers, No. r12, was fifth. C. Estes, Dowell, McCullough, Muirhead, and Norman, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Hobby Feature Winner: Jeremy Oliver, No. 82, was the feature winner. Shannon Dulock, No. 47, was second, Wesley Warren, No. 75, was third, Joe Williams, No. 32, was fourth and Larry Underwood, No. 8, was fifth. Nine cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, got his first feature win of the season. Michael Guenat, No. 25, was second, Jamie Herring, No. 222 , was third, Chris Richardson, No. 8, was fourth and Jerry Pittman, No. 27, was fifth. Pilscott, Gaston, Andrews, Morosky, and Kemp Jr., rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

Jr Mini Stock Feature Winner: Colton Rawls, No. 08, picked up another win. Blake Clark, No. 88, was second, Bradly Warren, No. 34w, was third, and Austin Moore, No. 88, was fourth.
Driver of the week was James Cochran II, No. 1j, and his outstanding IMCA Modified.
