The Mighty Modifieds made their first appearance of the season at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! A good field of 137 race teams were in the pits including 25 IMCA Modifieds. Matthew Day, from Farmersville, TX, was your IMCA Modified feature winner. Along with the IMCA Modifieds, Saturday’s Showcard included the IMCA Sportmods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Eco Mods, plus Sport Compacts. C & P Pump Services Jake Upchurch was third.

Hard Charger Chase Doughty, from Ennis, TX, ended up sixth.

Raceway Ministries: Kennedale Speedway offers a unique feature at the track. That is a ministry. We are under the umbrella of Texas Alliance Raceway Ministry based out at Texas Motor Speedway. The people involved in this ministry are Randy Denbow (chaplain), and Steve Kaneaster (asst. chaplain). We give the invocation, operate the hot pit and oversee the children's special events at the track.
