It was qualifying night at Kennedale Speedway Park for the 18th Annual Summit Showdown plus the Winged Sprint Cars

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the 18th Annual Summit Showdown. Thursday night was open practice and a Stephenville Starter & Electric Pit Party. Friday’s program included heats, B-mains and Prelim features (the top 8 finishers are locked into Saturday’s Show) for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sportmods, and Factory Stocks, plus a complete show for the RaceSaver IMCA 305 winged Sprint Cars. A good field of 20 Sprints were in the pits. Corsicana, TX, Marcus Thomas, No. 10g, was your feature winner. Check out all the exciting racing action from Friday’s program!

Raceway Ministries: Kennedale Speedway offers a unique feature at the track. That is a ministry. We are under the umbrella of Texas Alliance Raceway Ministry based out at Texas Motor Speedway. The people involved in this ministry are Randy Denbow (chaplain), and Steve Kaneaster (asst. chaplain). We give the invocation, operate the hot pit and oversee the children's special events at the track. We offer spiritual and prayer support.
