Mother Nature was the winner at the Mike Melton Memorial featuring the $2,111 to win Sprint Cars at Kennedale Speedway Park

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the Mike Melton Memorial featuring the $2,111 to win $321 to start IMCA RaceSaver 305 Winged Sprint Cars in honor of Mike Melton Motorsports! Special thanks to everyone who donated to this event especially Mike Frieri Photos and 2nd Opinion Auto Center. It was shaping up to be a great night of racing! There were 133 race cars in the pits including 39 Sprint Cars. Sadly Mother Nature won Saturday night. The races were called about midway through the Sprint feature. Check out the racing action from Saturday night!

Raceway Ministries: Kennedale Speedway offers a unique feature at the track. That is a ministry. We are under the umbrella of Texas Alliance Raceway Ministry based out at Texas Motor Speedway. The people involved in this ministry are Randy Denbow (chaplain), and Steve Kaneaster (asst. chaplain). We give the invocation, operate the hot pit and oversee the children's special events at the track. We offer spiritual and prayer support. We are very fortunate that the track owner and management want us there. We appreciate the driver's, crew members and fans for supporting us.
