It was a Memorial Day Weekend special show at Heart O Texas Speedway Sunday night. Sunday’s Super Show featured the finale night of the 4th Annual All Star Shootout featuring the $1,000 to win IMCA Modifieds! An impressive field of 186 race cars were in the pits, including 30 IMCA Modifieds. William Gould, from Calera, OK, was your IMCA Modified feature winner. Along with the IMCA Modifieds, Sunday’s Super Show featured the IMCA RaceSaver 305 Winged Sprints, IMCA Sportmods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Kennedale Speedway Park hosted night #2 of the 4th Annual All Star Shootout featuring the $1,000 to win IMCA Modifieds! The All Star Shootout Tour begin Friday at Southern Oklahoma Speedway and will finish up at Heart O Texas Speedway Sunday night. A good field of 146 race cars, including 34 Modifieds, were in the pits. Brint Hartwick, from Quitman, AR, was your Saturday night Modified feature winner. Along with the $1,000 to win IMCA Modifieds, Saturdays Showcard included the $750 to win IMCA Southern Sport Mods, $750 to win IMCA Stock Cars, plus the Factory Stocks. Jacob Pirkle, from Midlothian, TX, was your Modified feature winner. Along with the IMCA Modifieds, Saturdays Showcard included the IMCA Southern Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Eco Mods, and Sport Compacts. The race fans enjoyed the Powder Puff races. Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the Mike Melton Memorial featuring the $2,111 to win $321 to start IMCA RaceSaver 305 Winged Sprint Cars in honor of Mike Melton Motorsports! Special thanks to everyone who donated to this event especially Mike Frieri Photos and 2nd Opinion Auto Center. It was shaping up to be a great night of racing! There were 133 race cars in the pits including 39 Sprint Cars. Sadly Mother Nature won Saturday night. The races were called about midway through the Sprint feature. Check out the racing action from Saturday night!
