The ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprint Series, presented by Abilene Powder Coating, made their debut at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! A good field of twenty-seven Elite Non-Wing Sprints were in the pits including current points leader Justin Zimmerman. Along with the Sprints, Saturday’s Showcard included the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Next Saturday, August 29, Kennedale Speedway Park hosts a full race program plus a Demolition Derby! Check out all the exciting racing action from Saturday night below:

Elite Non-Wing Sprints Feature Winner: Keith Martin made this one look easy! Keith lead every lap of the 20-lap feature. Steven Shebester, No. 22x, was second, Paul White, No. 1, was third, Justin Zimmerman, No. #1, was fourth, and Jason Howell, No. 44, was fifth. Chad Wilson, Scott Evans, Cody Price, Michelle Parson, and Jeremy Jonas, top ten. Stephen Smith, Jeb Sessums, Kyle Jones, Chase Parson, Cody Freeman, Austin Burkham, J.D. Fry, Colby Estes, Bryan Debrick, and Michael Day, rounded out the field. Twenty-seven cars were in the pits. 

Veteran Paul White had a top three finish.

Justin Zimmerman had a top five finish.

Modified Feature Winner: Current points leader Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was your feature winner! Jon White Jr., No. 8j, had a good run for second, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was third, Jeff Emerson, No. 35, was fourth, and Mike Hathcock, No. 03, was fifth. Dalton Pike, Archie Whitt, David Gonzales Jr., and Michael Svehlak, rounded out the field. 

Jeff Emerson had a top five finish.

Mike Hathcock finished fifth.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, made it two feature wins in-a-row! Damon Hammond, No. 116, was second, Billy Gould Jr., No. 60, was third, Justin Long, No. 42, was fourth, and James Skinner, No. 17s, was fifth. Jerrett Bransom, Todd West, Casey Brunson, Matt Norwood, and Kaleb Emerson, top ten. Gary Fox, Tommy Freeman, Austin Neubauer, Justin Hossler, Nicole Torres, Vinny Rabozzi, Michael Young, and Jeff Reynolds, rounded out the field. Sixteen cars started the field.

Heart O Texas Speedway hosted the Annual “Wild Bill White Shootout” featuring the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Sprint Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating! A good field of twenty-seven Sprints were in the pits, including Paul White, the son of legendary Bill White, an inaugural inductee into the Heart O Texas Speedways Wall of Fame. These ASCS Elite Unlimited Cubic Inch Non-Wing Sprints always put on a breath taking show! Along wth the Elite Non-Wing Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and the Jr. Limiteds! Abilene Powder Coating Elite Non-Wing Sprint Feature Winner: Kyle Jones, No. 04, was your feature winner! Keith Martin, No. 79x, was second, Gary Floyd, No. 58, was third, Paul White, No. 1, was fourth, and Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, was fifth. Justin Zimmerman, Colby Estes, Claud Estes III, Chase Parson, and Cody Price, top ten. Stock Car Feature Winner: Blake Clark, No. 88, was your feature winner! Lewis Blackwood, No. 65, was second, Jerrett Bransom, No. 28, was third, Craig Moss, No. 25, was fourth, and Matt Guillaume, was fifth. Darryl Campbell, Shelby Williams, Ryan Powers, Erik Miles, and Gary Nabors, top ten. Bead Eskstrom, Yuri Tulchin, Justin Bruce, Clint Nabors, and Gary Williams, rounded out the field. Fifteen cars started the feature.

Sport Compact Feature Winner: Picking up his first feature win of his young career was Jack Bransom, No. 29! Bondy Cannon, Dean Leasure, Frank Lackey, Kaleb Watson, Daniel Thompson, Patrick Miller, Noah Riddle, and Steve Riojas, rounded out the field.

Raceway Ministries: Kennedale Speedway offers a unique feature at the track. That is a ministry. We are under the umbrella of Texas Alliance Raceway Ministry based out at Texas Motor Speedway. The people involved in this ministry are Randy Denbow (chaplain), and Steve Kaneaster (asst. chaplain). We give the invocation, operate the hot pit and oversee the children's special events at the track. We offer spiritual and prayer support. We are very fortunate that the track owner and management want us there. We appreciate the driver's, crew members and fans for supporting us.
