Chad Wilson No. 20 won his second Texas Sprint Series feature of the season at Kennedale Speedway Park

The Texas Sprint Series (TSS) returned to Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Last March, Casey Burkham, No. 45b, was the TSS feature winner in the inaugural Tony Hernandez Memorial! A record number of forty TSS Sprints were in attendance. Saturday's Showcard featured the Texas Sprint Series (TSS), plus the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts and the Jr. Mini Stocks. Wilson Motorsports Chad Wilson, No. 20, picked up his second TSS Sprint feature win in-a-row. Chad won at Boyd Raceway a couple of weeks ago. Sprint Feature Winner: Chad Wilson, No. 20, was your feature winner! Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was second, Lucas Scherb, No. 22, was third, D.J. Estes, No. 74, was fourth, and Claude Estes, No. 74e, was fifth. Zane Lawrence, Chase Brewer, Casey Merrell, Austin Burkham, and Merle Scherb, top ten. Jerrad Warhurst, Christian Kinnison, Chipper Wood, Colby Estes, Joushua Harner, Reagan Reed, John Ricketts, Corby Scherb, Logan Scherb, and Jesse Mack, rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Next TSS race is at Grayson County Speedway June 13.

Modified Feature Winner: Last years KSP Modified Champion picked up his second feature win of the 2020 season. Glen Hibbard, No. 127. Matt Guillaume, Jacob Pirkle, Jon White Jr., David Goode Jr, rounded out the top five. Marvin Skinner, Cody Shoemaker, Ryan Williams, Dalton Pike, and Mike Hathcock, top ten. Andy Tatum, Cody Tidwell, Jeffrey Abbey, Matt Martin, David Gonzales, and Jimmy Littlejohn, rounded out the field. Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Casey Brunson, No. 10, was your feature winner! Jeff Reynolds, Gary Fox, Damon Hammond, G.W. Egbert, Billy Hersey, Billy Gould, Danny Cavanagh, Justin Nabors, and Kamera McDonald, rounded out the top ten. Jerrett Bransom, Chris Cogburn, Sean Hill, Todd West, Jason Boone, Vinny Rabozzi, Austin Neubauer, Justin Hossler, David Redmon, Kevin Manning, Gene Yates, Jake UpChurch, James Willis, and Nicole Torres, rounded out the field. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Shelby Williams, No. 82, was your feature winner! Jerrett Bransom, Aaron Benedict, Lewis Blackwood, Darryl Campbell, Gary Nabors, Matt Guillaume, Clint Nabors, Ryan Powers, and Coton Obregon, top ten. Brad Ekstrom, Samuel Spadaro, Justin Bruce, Allison Morris, Shawn Mize, Craig Moss, Erik Miles, Blake Clark, Michael Wofford, Gary Williams, Ron Palmer, and Ashley Reagan, rounded out the field. Twenty-two cars stareted the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, held off Cameron Cook, No. 04, for the feature win! Ryan Powers, Brandon Taylor, Devin Burgess, Randy Buttery, A.J. Dennis Bissonette, Blayne Murphy, Kelsie Neubauer, Kenny Magar, Jordan Helfer, Floyd Gunn, Justin Van Matre, Tim Murray, Leon McBee, Blake Clark, Robert Barber, Jimmy Rawlins, and Trey Smitherman, rounded out the field. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Raceway Ministries: Kennedale Speedway offers a unique feature at the track. That is a ministry. We are under the umbrella of Texas Alliance Raceway Ministry based out at Texas Motor Speedway. The people involved in this ministry are Randy Denbow (chaplain), Steve Kaneaster (asst. chaplain), Buster Brown (hot pit), and Steve Schwartz. We give the invocation, operate the hot pit and oversee the children's special events at the track.
