Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the inaugural Texas Sprint Series Tony Hernandez Memorial Saturday night! A great crowd was on hand along with FORTY Texas Sprint Series IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprint Cars! Tony Hernandez was a flagman and the founder of the Texas Sprint Series (TSS). Along with the Texas Sprint Series (TSS), were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts! Kennedale Speedway Park would like to thank all the racers and race fans that came out to support this event. Check out all the exciting racing action from Saturday night below!
Sprint Feature Winner: Casey Burkham, No. 45b, was your feature winner! Logan Scherb, J. Ricketts, M. Parson, C. Brewer, M. Thomas, J. Sessums, Lucas Scherb, K. Venable, and N. Moore, rounded out the top ten. M. Etzelmiller, D. Burke, J. Warhurst, C. Estes, C. Wilson, D. Burkham, J. Emerson, D. Estes, C. McCreary, and Corby Scherb, rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature. Forty Sprints were in the pits!
Logan Scherb, No. 18, had a solid second.
John Ricketts, No. 99b, had a strong run for third.
James Lopez was injured during the Sprint feature and taken to the hospital.

Modified Feature Winner: Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was your feature winner! J. White Jr., J. McGaha, D. Goode Jr., M. Adams, M. McMillin, T. Geter, L. Hanson Jr., D. Gonzales, M. Martin, T. Raney, P.J. Egbert, and J. Emerson, rounded out the field.
Jon White Jr., No. 8j, came in second.

Shelby Williams, No. 82, had a strong run for second.

Coming on strong was Ryan Powers, No. r12, but he settled for second.
