Kennedale Speedway Park hosted a full race program Saturday night! The IMCA Modifieds and the IMCA SportMods were running for additional money thanks to Photos by Mike Frieri! Along with the IMCA Modifieds and IMCA SportMods, Saturday’s Showcard included the IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts and the 600 A-class Mini Sprints. Next Saturday, September 7, Kennedale Speedway Park will host a special show that includes the TOMS (Touring Outlaws Modifieds Series), TWMA, STEM, Factory Stocks and the Sport Compacts! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday below:

Modified Feature Winner: Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, appeared to be the IMCA Modified feature winner, sadly later he was DQ'd! Glen Hibbard, No. 127, in the MB Customs IMCA Modified was declared the feature winner. John Gober, No. 52, was second, Tommy Williams, No. 151, was third, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was fourth and Mark Adams, No. 82, was fifth. Cody Shoemaker, Matt Martin, Hardy Henderson, P.J.Egbert, and Jerry Robinson, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature. SportMod Feature Winner: Chance Morris, No. 69y, was declared the feature winner! Damon Hammond, No. 116, was second, Tim Clonch, No. 18, was third, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fourth, and James McCreery, No. 13j, was fifth. Kevin Rowland, Kevin Crawford Sr., Chris Cogburn, Taylor Florio, and Dustin Mooney, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. Kevin Green won his second IMCA Modified Championship in four years at Heart O Texas Speedway

2019 Track Champions were crowned at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! It was the final points night of the season for all the weekly classes including the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, Jr. Limiteds and Sport Compacts. Friday’s Showcard also included the Race of Champions, Mechanics Race, and a Powder Puff Race. Topping off the evening was the wild and crazy Trailer Race! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: 

Modified Feature Winner: Kevin Green, No. 5, was your IMCA Modified feature winner and the 2019 IMCA Modified Champion! This is the second Modified Championship that Kevin has won in four years at Heart O Texas Speedway. Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was second, Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was third, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was fourth and P.J. Ebert, No. 707, was fifth. Chris Morris, Cody Daniel, Donald Banker, Brent Gilliam, Jason Kingrey, and Derek Scott Jr., rounded out the field. Eleven cars started the feature.

Like Land, Blaine Simcik, Kenneth Dean, Westin Abbey, and Justin Lamar, rounded out the top ten. Westin Abbey, No. 77, picked up his second 2019 Championship this time in the Factory Stocks. Modified Feature Winner: Matt Martin, No. 11, held off a hard charging Glen Hibbard, No. 127, for the exciting Modified feature win! Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was third, John Gober, No. 52, was fourth and Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was fifth. Jason Hunter, Chris Bragg, David Goode Jr., Marvin Skinner, and Mark Adams, rounded out the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

Cody Foster, Patrick Miller, Christy Anderson, James Morehead, and Don Potter, rounded out the field.

Chad Wilson No. 20 was the run-a-way Texas Sprint Series feature winner at Boyd Raceway Friday night

Boyd Raceway is back! It’s bigger and better, thanks to the hard work of Richard Snider and his crew. Richard is a former track owner and promoter that has worked extremely hard to get this track back up and running! If you haven’t been to Boyd Raceway lately, come check out all the improvements and enjoy some exciting races! Friday night the RaceSaver 305 c.i. winged Texas Sprint Series (TSS) highlighted an action packed show. Along with the exciting TSS Sprints, Friday’s program included the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Boyd Raceway below:

Sprint Feature Winner: Chad Wilson, No. 20, ran-a-way with this one! Ryan Hall, No. 79, settled for second, Zane Lawrence, No. 42x, was third, Justin Melton, No. m1, was fourth and Chase Brewer, No. 3c, was fifth. Lucas Scherb, Joshua Harner, Corby Scherb, Kenny Venable, and Merle Scherb, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Wilson Motorsports took home the TSS first place prize!

Ryan Hall, No. 79, had a solid second place finish.

Zane Lawrence, No. 42x, had a top three finish.

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted a Back to School Bash for the kids Saturday night! There were back packs and school supplies for the kids! Along with the school items, the kids enjoyed the Ride on Race Cars during intermission plus Candy Call! There was also an exciting night of racing, that included the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Jr. Minis. Modified Feature Winner: Justin McCoy, No. 410, seem to run a way with this one, sadly he was later DQ'd! Chad Melton, No. 71, was declared the feature winner! Matt Martin, No. 11, was second, P.J. Egbert, No. 707, was third, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was fourth and Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was fifth. Marvin Skinner, Chris Gallien, Mark Adams, Dalton Pike, and Matt Guillaume, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: In one of the best races of the night, "Wild Child" Damon Hammond, No. 116, appeared to pass Chris Cogburn, No. 601, at the finish line for the exciting feature win! Sadly Damon was later DQ'd, giving the win to Chris Cogburn! James McCreery, No. 13j, was second, Michael Martin, No. 31, was third, James Skinner, No. 17s, was fourth and Rickey Haney, No. 99h, was fifth. Gregory Muirhead, Jay Coone, David Montgomery, Todd West, and Austin Moore, rounded out the top ten cars. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

The POWRi Align Pro Lonestar 600’s Summer Showdown, presented by No Limit Graphics, returned to Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! This was the first of two nights of racing for the exciting 600’s Non Wing Mini Sprints and the 600’s Restrictor Mini Sprints! The Lonestar 600’s Summer Showdown Series continues Saturday night at Super Bowl Speedway in Greenville, TX! Along with the exciting 600’s Mini Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Also, several kids received School Back Packs! Thanks to everyone who brought Back Packs for the kids! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: 

600’s Non Wing $750 Feature Winner: Fourteen year old Chase Hyland, No. 5, was your feature winner! Mike Walling, No. 29w, was second, Chase Randall, No. 9, was third, Christopher Larson, No. 2l, was fourth and Preston Perlmutter, No. 42p, was fifth. Cody Price, Jaylon Brown, Dustin Robinson, Jason Tyer, and Karson Battarbee, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. Thirty-three cars were in the pits.

Mike Walling had a solid second.

600’s Restrictor Feature Winner: Thomas Hall Jr., No. 114, was your feature winner! Conner Thomas, Evie Dean, Jaylon Brown, Shelby Price, Kamirin Cook, Rylie Yates, Stephen Yates, Kinsley Cook, and Hailey Taylor, rounded out the field. 

Modified Feature Winner: Chris Morris, No. 94, was your feature winner! Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was second, Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, was third, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fourth aand Kevin Green, No. 5, was fifth. Donald Banker, Derek Scott Jr., P.J. Egbert, David Goode Jr., and Cody Daniel, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cas started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Eddie Grmela, No. 11g, picked up his second feature win of the season! Taylor Florio, No. 21t, had a solid run for second, Austin Moore, No. 88, was third, Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fourth aand Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was fifth. Chris Cogburn, Sid Kiphen, Robert Scrivner, James Hanusch, and Jeff Shepperd, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Jason Batt, No. 9, got another feature winner! Westin Abbey, No. 12, was second, Andy Roller, No. 63, was third, Dillon Smith, No. 03e, was fourth and A.J. Dancer, No. 5, was fifth. Buck Owens, Ray Vann, Travis Normn, Eddie Thompson, and Ranger Shipman, rounded out the field.

Street Stock Feature Winner: Brandon Hood, No. 1b, picked up his second feature win of the season! Wade White, No. 68, settled for second, Jerry Frydrych, No. 13, had a good run for third, Kevin Smith, No. 57, was fourth and Eddie Thompson, No. 181, was fifth. Tommy Kirkpatrick, David Khoury, Billy Rupert, Joe Williams, and Nathan Sykora, rounded out the top ten.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Jeffrey Abbey, No. 77j, got another feature win! Will Carter, No. 8c, was a close second, Brett McMillin, No. 61, had a good run for third, Tracy Harris, No. 18h, was fourth and Brant Wollam, No. 26, was fifth. Westin Abbey, Doug Andrews, Melvin Kemp Jr., James Schoenrock, and Trevor Hudson, rounded out the top ten. Fifteen cars started the feature.
