The 600 A-class Mini Sprints returned to Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! Along with the Mini Sprints and the Pitt Stop Cafe Powder Puff Races, were all the weekly classes, including the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Jr. Minis. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday below:

Modified Feature Winner: Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was your feature winner! Chad Melton, No. 71, was second, John Gober, No. 52, was third, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was fourth and Matt Martin, No. 11, was fifth. Glen Hibbard, Marvin Skinner, Todd Greeninger, Dalton Pike, Jason Hunter, T.J. Lackey, and Peter Degrote, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, was your feature winner! Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was second, Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was third, Greg Muirhead, No. 22, was fourth and Kaden Honeycutt, No. 37, was fifth. Damon Hammond, Chance Morris, James McCreery, Kevin Crawford, and Jay Coone, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, helped celebrate Elgin Industries 100th Anniversary! Elgin Industries is a manufacturer of engine and chassis components for original equipment, replacement and performance markets. The featured class Friday night was the Texas Sprint Series IMCA RaceSaver 305 Wing Sprints! A great field of thirty Sprint Cars were in the pits! Along with the exciting Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night below: 

Sprint Feature Winner: Colby Estes, No. 71, managed to miss the "Big One" with four laps to go in the twenty-lap $750 to win Sprint feature! Colby held off Logan Scherb, No. 18, to take the exciting feature win! Merle Scherb, No. 78, was third, Chad Wilson, No. 20, was fourth and Chip Graham, No. 5, was fifth. Zane Lawrence, Kenny Venable, Casey Merrell, Chance McCrary, and Matt Etzelmiller, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature. A great field of thirty-Sprints were in the pits!

The weather finally gave Kennedale Speedway Park a break and they were able to get the fan favorite Demo Derby in! Along with the Demo Derby, the Lone Star Dwarf Car Club returned to KSP, plus the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Jr. Minis that made for and action packed evening! Next Saturday, July 27, Kennedale Speedway Park will host a full racing program plus the 600 Mini Sprints and Powder Puff races! Modified Feature Winner: David Goode Jr., No. 7g, started on the pole and lead every lap of the twenty-lap Modified feature! Matt Martin, No. 11, had a strong run for second, Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was third, John Gober, No. 52, was fourth and Demetrius Carter, No. 44, was fifth. Ryan Childress, Glen Hibbard, Matt Guillaume, Tommy Williams Jr., Jerry Robinson, Casey Lyles, Cody Shoemaker, and T. J. Lackey, rounded out the field.

Saturdays Showcard included all the weekly classes. The IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, $600 to win IMCA Stock Cars, $500 to win Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts, and Jr. Minis.
