It was a beautiful night for racing at Kennedale Speedway Park! Saturday’s showcard featured the IMCA Modifieds, plus the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts and Jr. Minis. Several lucky kids received Easter baskets and the night was topped off with a wild and crazy Compact Demolition Derby! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday night below!
IMCA Modified Feature Winner: Glen Hibbard, in the MB Customs, No. 127, appeared to have the win, but with one last to go, in the 20-lap feature, John Gober, No. 52, powered past Glen for the exciting Modified feature win! Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was third, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was fourth and William Gould, No. 60, was fifth. Marvin Skinner, Matt Martin, Jay Bransom, Jason Hunter, and Billy Gatlin, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.
Glen Hibbard, No. 127, had a solid second place finish.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, had this one won, but on the last lap, of the 20-lap feature, Jacob developed a flat tire, opening the door for Justin Nabors, No. 28j, to take over the lead and the feature win! Damon Hammond, "Wild Child Chassis", No. 116, ended up second, Casey Brunson, No. 10, was third, Justin Long, No. 42, and Kyle Wilkins, No. 7mk, was fifth. Jon White Jr., Kaden Honeycutt, Kevin Crawford, James McCreery, and Tony Keigley, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Damon Hammond, Wild Child Chassis", No. 116, had a solid second place finish.
Pepper Kuykendall, No. 33, had a car fire during the feature. He was not injured.

Stock Car Feature Winner: "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. p74, ran away with this one! Jacob Pirkle, No. 6r, took second, Darryl Campbell, "Destroyer Chassis", No. 83, was third, Gary Nabors, No. 59, was fourth and Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fifth. Jerrett Bransom, Brad Eckstrom, Lewis Blackwood, Roman Garcia, and Clint Nabors, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.
Jacob Piirkle, No. 6r, had a solid second place finish.
No. 3 had a car fire during the feature. He was not injured.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: A great race between Nate Nixon, No. 10, and Brett McMillin, No. 61. Nate appeared to hold off Brett for the exciting feature win! Nate was later DQ'd, giving the feature win to Brett McMillin. Duane Wolff, No. 410, was second, Jeff Hauser, No. 18x, was third, Charlie Wilson, No. 55, was fourth and Michael Bowles, No. 40, was fifth. Sean Hill, David Redmon, Donald Johnson, Mandy Bowen, and Floyd Gunn, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-five cars started the feature.
Duane Wolff, No. 410, had a solid second place finish.

Sport Compact Feature Winner: Derek Cates, No. 580, was your feature winner! Randall Carty, Clint Lambert, Frank Lackey, Johnny Clark, Brad Wright, James Moorehead, Colton Mooney, Shelley Hibbard, and Bob Moorehead, rounded out the field.
