The 600 Mini Sprints returned to Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! Along with the Mini Sprints, were the IMCA Modifieds, the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts and Jr. Minis. Next Saturday, May 4, the LoneStar Dwarf Car Club plus a full race program including a Kids Silver Rush! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday night below!

IMCA Modified Feature Winner: Jason Hunter, No. 13h, was the Modified feature winner! Jeff Hoegh, No. 97j, was second, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was third, Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was fourth and Robert McKinney, No. 19, was fifth. Beau Begnaud, Raymond McSpadden, Cody Shoemaker, William Gould, and David Goode Jr., rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

A good group of IMCA Modifieds were in the pit including Dalton Pikes's beautiful IMCA Modified.

SportMod Feature Winner: Kaden Honeycutt, No. 37, was your feature winner! James Skinner, No. 17s, was second, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was third, Kevin Crawford, No. 7c, was fourth and Gregory Muirhead, No. 22, was fifth. Jay Coone, Frank Lackey, Casey Brunson, John South, and Gary Fox, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Good race between Damon Hammond, No. 116, and Jerrett Bransom, No. 28. It appeared that Damon got the feature win, but he was later DQ'd. Jerrett Bransom, No. 28, ended up the winner, Justice Bruce, No. 00, was second, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was third, Lewis Blackwell, No. 65, was fourth and Craig Moss, No. 25, was fifth. Todd Ludwick, Gary Nabors, Don Chamblee, Demetrius Carter, and Clint Nabors, rounded out the top ten.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Looked like Jeff Hauser, No. 18x, got the feature win, but he was later DQ'd! Chris Lough, No. 39, in honor of Jamey Lough, was declared the feature winner! Brett McMillin, No. 61, was second, George Gafford, No. 70, was third, David Redmon, No. 54r, was fourth and Kenny Magar, No. 84, was fifth. Duane Wolff, Katelyn Foster, Robert Barber, Justin Lemons, and Tommy Williams Jr., rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Sport Compact Feature Winner: Clint Lambert, No. 72, was your feature winner! Randall "Toot Toot" Carty, No. 24c, was second, Frank Lackey, No. 41, was third, and Johnny Clark, No. 73j, was fourth, and Derek Cates, No. 580, was fifth. 

Jr. Mini Feature Winner: Liam Holland, No. 9, was your feature winner! Justin Anderson, No. 22, was second, Brody Tarrant, No. 74, was third, and Tanyan Miller, No. 27, was fourth.

600 Mini Sprint Feature Winner: A great way to celebrate a birthday! Trevor Goad, No. 4t, got the feature win! Chance Hull, No. 7, was second, Brady Ross, No. 1r, was third, Jason Tyer, No. 12, was fourth and Morgan Roan, No. 15, was fifth. Shelby Hinton, Calen Mohler, Devon Debrick, and Jordan Rupe, rounded out the field. 

Several Sprints were involved in a bad wreck during their heat race.

Heart O Texas Speedway hosted night one of the Align Pro POWRi LoneStar 600 Mini Sprints, presented by No Limit Graphics, Spring Cup. The racing action continues Saturday night at 281 Speedway, in Stephenville, Texas. Along with the Mini Sprints, were the “ground pounding” IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Next Friday, May 3, the ASCS Sprints return to Heart O Texas Speedway. You don’t want to miss this exciting show! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night!

600 Mini Sprint Feature Winner: Jacob Lucas, No. 57, took the high road and Joey Starnes, No. 11j, took the low road! Joey lead most of the twenty-five lap feature, but with a few laps to go, Jacob Lewis past him on the high side to take the exciting LoneStar 600's Mini Sprint $750 Driven Performance Midwest feature win! Preston Perlmutter, No. 42p, was third, Mike Walling, No. 29w, was fourth and Karson Battarbe, No. 38, was fifth. Karter Battarbee, Jason Tyer, Christopher Larson, Colton Corbin, and Jarrett Hjorth, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. Forty-nine Mini Sprints were in the pits!

Joey Starnes, No. 11j, had a solid second place finish.

Restrictor Mini Sprint Feature Winner: Ryan Timms, No. 5t, from Oklahoma City, was your $250 Driven Performance Midwest feature winner! Ryder Laplante, No. 88r, was second, Christopher Townsend, No. 6, was third, Kamirin Cook, No. 30k, was fourth and Jayton Brown, No. 11, was fifth. Nathan Hammond, Connor Thomas, Hailey Taylor, Thomas Hall Jr., and Dalton Wayne, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Ryder Laplante, No. 88r, had a solid second place finish.

Rylie Yates, No. 7r, drove her first Restrictor Mini Sprint feature race.

Modified Feature Winner: Kevin Green, No. 5, picked up his second IMCA Modified feature win in-a-row! John Gober, No. 52, had a strong run for second, Jared Herring, No. 1h, was third, Beau Begnaud, No. 32, was fourth and Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fifth. Jason Hunter, Mike Hathcock, Benji Kirkpatrick, David Goode Jr., and Wes Dulock, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Garett Rawls, No. 4g, was your feature winner! Stock Car Feature Winner: Westin Abbey, No. 12, looked to have this race won! But with two laps to go, in the 20 lap feature, Westin spun in turn 4. On the restart A.J. Dancer, took over the lead and the feature win! Andy Roller, No. 63, was third, Travis Norman, No. 3x, was fourth and Brandon Taylor, No. 5*, was fifth. Ryan Sanford, Ronnie Ellis Jr., Kirk Martin, Westin Abbey, and Dan Shipler, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

Street Stock Feature Winner: Wade White, No. 68, picked up his sixth feature win of the season! Greg Andrews, No. 8a, was second, Joe Williams, No. 32, was third, Cody Robbins, No. 17xx, and Tommy Kirkpatrick, No. 71, was fifth. Billy Rupert, Kevin Smith, Jerry Frydrych, Eddie Thompson, Barry Gaston, Drew Garcia, and Kristin Boytis, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: The all Abbey show! Westin Abbey, No. 77w, held off Jeffrey Abbey, No. 77j, for the feature win! Lee McCullough, No. 55, was third, Shannon Dulock, No. 47, was fourth and Blake Clark, No. 88, was fifth. Melvin Kemp Jr., Grant Wollam, Anthony Simcik, Chad Herring, and J.D. Nino rounded out the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

It was a beautiful night for racing at Kennedale Speedway Park! Saturday’s showcard featured the IMCA Modifieds, plus the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Sport Compacts and Jr. Minis. Several lucky kids received Easter baskets and the night was topped off with a wild and crazy Compact Demolition Derby! Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Saturday night below!

IMCA Modified Feature Winner: Glen Hibbard, in the MB Customs, No. 127, appeared to have the win, but with one last to go, in the 20-lap feature, John Gober, No. 52, powered past Glen for the exciting Modified feature win! Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was third, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was fourth and William Gould, No. 60, was fifth. Marvin Skinner, Matt Martin, Jay Bransom, Jason Hunter, and Billy Gatlin, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, had this one won, but on the last lap, of the 20-lap feature, Jacob developed a flat tire, opening the door for Justin Nabors, No. 28j, to take over the lead and the feature win! Damon Hammond, "Wild Child Chassis", No. 116, ended up second, Casey Brunson, No. 10, was third, Justin Long, No. 42, and Kyle Wilkins, No. 7mk, was fifth. Jon White Jr., Kaden Honeycutt, Kevin Crawford, James McCreery, and Tony Keigley, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. 

Damon Hammond, Wild Child Chassis", No. 116, had a solid second place finish.

Pepper Kuykendall, No. 33, had a car fire during the feature. He was not injured.

Nate was later DQ'd, giving the feature win to Brett McMillin. Duane Wolff, No. 410, was second, Jeff Hauser, No. 18x, was third, Charlie Wilson, No. 55, was fourth and Michael Bowles, No. 40, was fifth. Sean Hill, David Redmon, Donald Johnson, Mandy Bowen, and Floyd Gunn, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-five cars started the feature.

It was a good Friday for racing at Heart O Texas Speedway. A nice crowd was on hand to watch some exciting racing on a fast track. Friday’s showcard featured the “ground pounding” IMCA Modifieds, plus the Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks. Thanks to all the race fans who donated Easter baskets for the kids. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night!

Modified Feature Winner: Kevin Green, No. 5. was your feature winner! Cody Tidwell, No. 17, had a strong run for second, David Goode Jr., No. 7g, was third, Jeff Hoegh, No. 97j, was fourth and Chris Morris, No. 94, was fifth. Eric Tomlinson, William Gould, Chris Gallien, Garrett Gregory, and Mike Hathcock, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Garrett Gregory, No. 148, had a top ten finish.

The Texas Sprint Series (TSS) rolled into Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night. A full field of thirty-one Sprints were in the pits. The TSS Sprints feature the RaceSaver 305 Winged Sprints! Heart O Texas Speedway also hosted the Children’s Tumor Foundation Night! Thanks to all the race fans who donated to this great cause. Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, picked up his second Sprint feature win of the season at Heart O Texas Speedway! Marcus won the Sprint Bandit Series season opener last month. Chase Brewer, No., 32, was second, Danny Merrell, No. 0, was third, Michelle Melton, No. 1m. was fourth and Jeb Sessums, No 01j, was fifth. Jeff Emerson, Chip Graham, Bob Odom, Merle Scherb, and Dustin Wood, rounded out the top ten. Twenty cars stared the feature. Thirty-one cars were in the pits. 

Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, had a solid top five finish.

Markiss Harcrow, an IMCA Stock Car racer, was in a terrible Semi Truck accident on Tuesday. Markiss was ejected out of the cab of the vehicle and is currently recovering at home. THANKS to the race fans who donated several hundred dollars to Markiss and his family. Please keep the Harcrow family in your prayers.

Next Friday, April 19, Heart O Texas Speedway will host another exciting program. Next Friday’s Show Card includes a full race program, plus a Kid’s Easter Basket Give-a-way! Please bring an Easter Basket(s) for the kids if you can.

Kevin Green gets the green in the exciting IMCA Modified feature win at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night

Heart O Texas Speedway hosted the Annual Autism Awareness event Friday night. The Heart O Texas Autism Network assist families with children with Autism. Thanks to everyone who purchased items and donated to this great cause. If you would like more information, go to: www.hotan254.org

The LoneStar Dwarf Car Club made their second appearance of the season. These mighty midgets always put on a good show for the fans. Along with the Dwarf Cars, were the IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Limiteds. Check out all the exciting racing action and family fun from Friday night!

Modified Feature Winner: Kevin Green, No. 5, held off a strong field of Modified to take the feature win! Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, had a solid run for second, Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was third, William Gould, No. 60, had a good run for fourth and Cody Daniel, No. 76s, was fifth. Chris Davis, Dillon Tindall, Jeff Hoegh, Justin Radcliff, and Chris Gallien, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature.

Chris Davis, No. 94, had a top six finish in the Modified feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: James McCreery, No. 13j, was your feature winner! Damon Hammond, No. 116, was second, Joel Garca, No. 23, was third, James Skinner, No. 17s, was fourth and Hayden Wade, No. 8w3, was fifth. Gregory Muirhead, Robert Stewart, Taylor Florio, Austin Moore, and Jeff Shepperd, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Jason Batt, No. 9, celebrated his birthday with a feature win! Westin Abbey, No. 12, was second, A.J. Dancer, No.52, was third, Travis Norman, No. 3x, was fourth and Buck Owens, No. 8, was fifth. Brandon Taylor, Blake Clark, John Frydrych, Jeffrey Borho, and Joe Spillman, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

Travis Norman, No. 3x, ended up fourth.

Street Stock Feature Winner: Wade White, No. 68, picked up his third feature win of the season! Brandon Hood, No. 1b, was a solid second, Greg Andrews, No. 8a, was third, Eddie Thompson, No. 181, was fourth and Sam Sovey, No. 11, was fifth. Billy Rupert, Jerry Frydrych, Joe Williams, Barry Gaston, and Kristin Boytis, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Melvin Kemp Jr., No. 54, was your feature winner! Jeffrey Abbey, N. 77j, was second, James Schoenrock, No. 37, was third, Tracey Cundieff, No. 93, was fourth and Michael Hall, No. h93, was fifth. Grant Wollam, J.D. Nino. Anthony Sincik, Doug Andrews, and James Manderud, rounded out the top ten. Fourtheen cars started the feature.

Jeffrey Abbey, No. 77j, took the second spot.

Jr. Limiteds Feature Winner: Trevor Cogburn, No. 601, and Jesse Shepperd, No. 17, battled it out for the lead. Sadly on the last lap, they took each other out, opening the door for Corbin Willet, No. 3, to take the lead and get his first feature win!

Dwarf Car Feature Winner: Dillon Spreen, No. 81s, picked up his second feature win of the season! Ryan Stoy, No. 20, was second, Blake Patterson, No. 42p, was third, Brandon Spreen, No. 80, was fourth and Joe Fisher, No. 146, was fifth. Louie Yount, Chase Doughty, Troop Miller, Bert Rojas, and Carl Davis, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Ryan Stoy, No. 20, picked up a second place finish.

Dallas Patterson, No. 32, wrecked his brand new Dwarf Car in the feature.
