Although it is officially Spring, it was windy and cold at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! Most of the tracks in the area were closed, but despite the colder weather, a group of die hard race fans braved the weather to watch some hot racing action on a very fast track! Saturdays Showcard included the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Sport Compacts. Check out all the exciting racing action from Saturday night below!

IMCA Modified Feature Winner: Jeff Hoegh, No. 97j, purchased a new "CAM Chassis" car this year. So far this season, it is paying off big time! Jeff double dipped this weekend. Friday night Jeff won the IMCA Modified feature at Heart O Texas Speedway. Then Saturday night, Jeff backed that up, with an IMCA Modified feature win at Kennedale Speedway Park! Oklahoma's William Gould, No. 60, was second, Glen Hibbard, "MB Customs", No. 127, was third, Beau Begnaud, No. 32, was fourth and Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was fifth. Matt Martin, Chris Bragg, Chad Melton, Larry Adams, and Matt Guillaume, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Glen Hibbard, No. 127, in the MB Customs IMCA Modified had a top three finish.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jon White Jr., No. 8j, was your feature winner! Dean Abbey, No. 124, was second, Bret Young, No. 69, had a good run for third, Greg Muirhead, No. 22, was fourth and Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fifth. Jacob Pirkle, James McCreery, Damon "Wild Child" Hammond, Tim Clonch, and Gary Fox, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. A large field of thirty-nine cars were in the pits.
Jake UpChurch, No. 24, had a top five finish.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 6r, was your feature winner! Shelby Williams, No. 9, had a strong run for second, Roman Garcia, No. 121, was third, Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was fourth and Darryl "Destroyer Chassis" Campbell, No. 83, was fifth. Levi Hodges, Gary Williams, Clint Nabors, Jerrett Bransom, and Ron Palmer, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Jeff Hauser, No. 18x, was your feature winner! Brett McMillin, No. 61, was second, Walter Hamilton, No. 14, was third, Gary Fitch, No. 197, was fourth and Dylan Moss, No. 33d, was fifth. George White, Lance Hanson Jr., Kenny Magar, David Redmon, and Floyd Gunn, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.
Brett McMillin, No. 61, had a solid second place finish.

Sport Compact Feature Winner: Scott Newbury, No. 11s, was your feature winner! Randall "Toot Toot" Carty, No. 24c, was second, Rick Saupp, No. L1x, was third, Randy McHorton Jr., No. 56, was fourth and Mike Smith, No. 02, was fifth. Bob Morehead, James Morehead, Johnny Clark, James Magouirk, and Derek Cates, rounded out the field.

SPRINTS return to Kennedale Speedway Park next Saturday, April 6! Along with the high powered Winged 360 c.i. Sprint Car Bandits Series (SCB), KSP will host a full racing program! The Sprint Car Bandits Series (SCB) will be making their only appearance of the 2019 season. Make plans to be there!
Marvin Thomas, No. 15t, was the winner of the first SCB race at Heart O Texas Speedway.
