Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale)

Kennedale Speedway Park hosted the final race of the 2018 racing season with the 4th Annual Bryan Mize Memorial! Bryan Mize was a friend and crew member of Kevin Sustaire Motorsport, who passed away on August 20, 2015. Bryan would have been pleased, because Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day for racing. A good crowd was on hand and there were over 140 race teams in the pits. The featured class was the $1,000-to-win IMCA Modifieds, plus the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars and the exciting Factory Stocks. Check out all the racing action from Saturday night below!
Modified feature winner: John Gober, No. 52, got past William Gould, No. 60, on the last lap, of the 20-lap feature, to take the exciting $1,000-to-win Modified feature. Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was third, Matt Martin, No. 11, was fourth and Cody Leonard, No. 12, was fifth. Michael Ables, J.P. Dowell, Ronnie Bell, Chris Bragg, Cody Shoemaker, Richard Brown, Mike Hathcock, Larry Adams, Archie Whitt, David Goode Sr., Ryan Williams, Raymond McSpadden, Darrell Campbell, Garrett Higgins, and Charlie Theme rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Matt Guillaume had a top three finish.

SportMod feature winner: Dean Abbey, No. 26, was your run-a-way feature winner! Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was second, Jon White Jr., No. 8j, was third, Brandon Watson, No. 68, was fourth and Kevin Manning, No. 81, was fifth. David Bolt, Jeff Shepperd, Blaine Shives, James Hanusch, Billy Brierton, G.W. Egbert, Tyler Bragg, Brandon White, Stephen Torrez, Ryan Powers, Michael Dabney, Kirk Williams, Tommy Grimes, Jack Franklin, and Robert Scriven rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Sid Kiphen had a solid second place finish.

Stock Car feature winner: Good race between Austin Smith, No. 313, and Damon Hammond, No. 116. Austin appeared to get the win, but was later DQ'd! Hammond was declared the feature winner, George Egbert, No. 70, was second, Andy Roller, No. 63, was third, Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, had a good run for fourth and Bryan Schutte, No. 7x, was fifth. Dennis Bissonnette, Cary White, Levi Hodges, Steven Orebaugh, J.D. Davis, Dean Abby, Brad Engstrom, Ronnie Christopher, Bryce Pritchett, Brent Cargal, Richard Brownlee, G.W. Egbert, Brandon Taylor, Kirk Martin, and Adam Smith, rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Adam Smith had a fast car but didn't pass tech.

Factory Stock feature winner: "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. r12, held off Cameron Cook, No. 04, for the feature win. Calvin Williams, No. 11w, was third, Walter Hamilton, No. 14, was fourth and Blake Clark, No. 27, was fifth. Jason Cook, Jason Hauser, Bryce Pritchett, Dustin Sprouse, Michael Martin, Lance Hanson Jr., Tommy Williams Jr., Dustin Choate, Kenny Magar, Devin Manning, Jamie Herring, Timothy Holder, Matt Rust, Leroy Bernard, and Dean Abbey, rounded out the field. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Cameron Cook was a close second in the feature.
