The weather was extremely hot last week which forced Kennedale Speedway Park to cancel the races. Thankfully Saturday the weather was a little cooler and the Kennedale Speedway Park racing family was ready for some racing! This weeks showcard featured a full racing program plus the IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprints and the A-class 600 Mini Sprints. Check out all the racing excitement and family fun from Saturday night below:

Modified Feature Winner: Matt Guilaume, No. 50, held off a hard charging Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, to take the exciting IMCA Modified 20-lap feature! Erik Miles, who drove a good race, ended up third, Mitch McMillin, No. 61, was fourth and Matt Martin, No. 11, was fifth. Marvin Skinner, Chris Morris, Robert McKinney, Darryl Campbell, and Mike Moore, rounded out the top ten. Twenty cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Justin Nabors, No. 28j, was your feature winner! Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was coming on strong, but settled for second, Michael Martin, No. 31, was third, Kevin Manning, No. 81, was fourth and Dustin Mooney, No. 5, was fifth. Casey Brunson, Kamera McDonald, John South, Taylor Florio, and Michael Dabney, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Craig Moss, No. 25, was your feature winner! Clint Nabors, No. 95, was second, Westin Abbey, No. 37, was third, Jerrett Bransom, No. 28, was fourth and Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was fifth. Jay Bransom, Damon Hammond, Kirk Martin, Bryce Pritchett, and Blake Clark, rounded out the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. 12, powered his way to the Factory Stock feature win! Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, had a good run for second, Ricky Sessions, No. 7, was third, Trey Smitherman, No. 96, was fourth and Frank Lackey, No. 41, was fifth. Devin Manning, Kenny Magar, Kyle Robillard, Kelsie Foster, and Calton Pritchett, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jarrad Warhurst, No. 7j, was second, Lucas Scherb, No. 22, was third, Joey Starnes, No. 11j, was fourth, and Blake Baccus, No. 16, were your top five. Mark Klis Jr., Katelyn Dixon, Scott Scherb, and Marshall McKelvy, rounded out the field.

600 A-class Feature Winner: Joey Starnes, No. 11j, was your 20-lap feature winner! Race fans had a HOT time at Heart O Texas Speedway last week! Friday night the weather was cooler and a good crowd was on hand to enjoy some exciting racing. The HOT showcard consisted of a regular racing program that featured the always exciting IMCA Modifieds. Along with the Modifieds, were the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks and the Jr. Mini Stocks. Check out all the exciting racing action from Friday night below:

Modified Feature Winner: Hardy Henderson, No. 63, mentioned that he had not been to Heart O Texas Speedway in a while. Friday night his visit paid off with an IMCA Modified 20-lap feature win! Coming in second was Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, Raymond McSpadden, No. 48, was third, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fourth and Kevin Green, No. 5, was fifth. David Goode Jr., Chris Morris, Dwayne Grantham, Justin Radcliff, and Rob Slott, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Trevor Egbert, No. 78, got that first SportMod feature win of the season! Trevor was the run-a-way winner in the SportMod 20-lap feature! Rusty Head, No. 55, was second, Tyler Bragg, No. 24t, was third, T. J. Green No. 5, was fourth and Brandon Geurin, No. 12, was fifth. Gabe Tucker, Jeff Shepperd, Kyle Wilkins, James Hanusch, and Joel Garcia, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-three cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, seemed to have this one won! Sadly he came up a little light on the scales giving the feature win to Westin Abbey, No. 37. Andy Roller, No. 63, was second, Eddie Thompson, No. 181, was third, Colton Obregon, No. 39c, was fourth and Christopher Bruner, No. 10, was fifth. Damon Hammond, John Frydrych, Benji Kirkpatrick, and Travis Norman, rounded out the field.

Outlaw Stock Car Feature Winner: Current points leader Kevin Smith, No. 771, picked up his second feature win of the season! Factory Stock Feature Winner: In a wild one, Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, managed to take the Factory Stock feature win! Nate Dixon, Justin Lamar, Jeff Hammitt, Shannon Dulock, and Jon Grobe, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

Kennedale Speedway Park held their 1st Annual Pitt Stop Cafe Invitational Powder Puff race Saturday night! Eighteen ladies raced for 18 laps to take home the $600 first prize! Thanks to the Pitt Stop Cafe for putting this together and to all the sponsors that made this possible. Along with the Powder Puff race, there were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Jr. Mini Stocks and the LoneStar Dwarf Car Club. Check out all the exciting racing action from Saturday night below: 

Several cars were involved in a wreck during the Powder Puff race.

Powder Puff Winner: In one of the best races of the evening, Chelsee Taylor, No. 27, took the checkered flag for the $600 to win 1st Annual Pitt Stop Cafe Invitational Powder Puff race! Kandi Walter, No. 7, was second, Lauren Moss, No. 6, was third, Kayla Jones, No. 41, was fourth and Makayla Hovious, No. 121, was fifth. Nanette Busbee, Nicole McMillin, Misty Moss, Shelbie Powers, and Shelley Marnell, rounded out the top ten. Kandi Walther started eleventh and finished second to take the $150 Hard Charger Award. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, won another one! Tommy took the lead and never looked back for the Modified feature win. Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was second, Jimmy Littlejohn, No. 87l, was third, Robert McKinney, No. 19, was fourth and Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fifth. "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, Derek Scott Jr., Erik Miles, Mitch McMillin, and Burt Wilten, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Starting from the 10th position, in the 20-lap feature, Jacob Pirkle, No 141, worked his way to the front and took home the IMCA SportMod feature win! Chris Cogburn, No. 601, drove a good race, but ended up second, Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was third, Michael Martin, No. 31, was fourth, and Kevin Crawford Jr., No. 06, was fifth. Jake UpChurch, James Skinner, Justin Long, Casey Brunson, and "Flyin" Ryan Powers, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-six cars started the feature.

Dwarf Car Feature Winner: Good race between Dallas Patterson, No. 32, and Jason Reavis, No. 626. Dallas Patterson pulled off another feature win for the season! Joe Sheddan, No. 00, was third, Troop Miller, No. 15, was fourth and David Garland, No. 84, came from the back of the pack, for fifth. Adam Segura, Blake Patterson, Carl Davis, Brandon Hannah, and Richard Brooker, rounded off the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

Heart O Texas Speedway was up and running after being rained out last week! It was Friday the 13th and that made for some scary good races that included the return of the POWRi LoneStar Non-Wing 600s! The POWRi Align Pro LoneStar Non-Wing 600’s, presented by K and K Earthworks, put on a great show at Heart O Texas Speedway back in April. A strong field of forty-six Mini Sprints were in the pits Friday night. Along with the POWRi 600’s, were the IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Outlaw Street Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks! Check out all the racing action and family fun from Friday night below!

600 A-class Feature Winner: Good race between Jacob Lucas, No. 57, and Weldon Buford, No. 01. With three laps to go in the twenty-lap feature (reduced from 25-laps), Jacob got past Weldon, for the exciting $750 to win POWRi 600s feature win! Colton Corbin, No. 29c, was third, Chaser Randall, No. 9, was fourth and Trevor Goad, No. 4t, had a good run for fifth. Johnny Boland, Preston Perlmutter, Jason Tyer, Jeb Sessums, and Mike Walling, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-five cars started the feature.

Restrictor Feature Winner: Nine year old Chase Hyland, No. 5, made this one look easy! Chase was your $300 run-away winner! Timothy Watson III, No. 27t, was second, Jayton Brown, No. 11, was third, Stephen Yates, No. 27y, was fourth, and Dylan Still, No. 95, was fifth. Thomas Hall Jr., Evan Spaulding, Kamirin Cook, Christopher Townsend, Wyatt Wilkerson, and Hailey Taylor, rounded out the field. Twelve Cars started the feature.

Modified Feature Winner: David Goode Jr., No. 7g, held off a strong field to pick up his first Modified feature win of the season! Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was second, Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, Chris Elliott, No. 915, was fourth, and Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fifth. Coming from the back of the pack was "CAM Chassis" Chase Allen, Josh McGaha, Chris Morris, Erik Thorne, and Jeff Hoegh, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

Chris Elliott No. 915 had a solid top five finish.

Friday the 13th was not good to Bo Begnaud. He rolled his beautiful Modified in his heat.

SportMod Feature Winner: A good race between Gabe Tucker, No. 95, and Chris Cogburn, No. 601! Gabe managed to get past Chris to pick up his fourth feature win of the season! Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was third, T.J. Green, No. 5, was fourth, and Eddie Grmela, No. 11g, was fifth. Jeff Shepperd, Garett Rawls, Ronnie Bell Jr., Kaden Honeycutt, and James Hanusch, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Joe Williams, Drew Garcia, Justin Webre, Eddie Thompson, Curtis Twardeski, Mike Land, and James Hanusch, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: It wasn't easy! Tom Earl III, No. 99, appeared to be in good shape to take this one, but with a few laps to go, in the 20 lap feature, a caution came out. On the restart, Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, took the lead. But on the last lap, Tom Earl III, managed to get past Ryan Hopkins for the exciting Factory Stock feature win! Jeffrey Abbey, No 77j, was third, Lance Hanson, No. 5h, ended up fourth, and Dennis Bissonnette, No. 818, was fifth. Tom Earl, Ricky Sessions, Nate Dixon, Joe O'Bryan, and Shannon Dulock, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

The IMCA Modifieds were the featured class at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night and they did not disappoint! Several Modifieds battled for the lead, in the 20-lap feature, with Matt Guillaume, No. 50, taking the checkered flag. Along with the Modifieds, were the IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and the Jr. Mini Stocks!

Next Saturday, July 14, Kennedale Speedway Park will have a full race program, plus the LoneStar Dwarf Car Club. Check out all the exciting racing action from Saturday night below: 

Modified Feature Winner: Several racers battled for the lead, in the 20-lap IMCA Modified feature, but when the checkered flag dropped, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, picked up the win! Justin McCoy, No. 87, was coming on strong, but settled for second, Erik Miles, No. 65, had a good run for third, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was fourth and Danny Rodgers, No. 02, ended up fifth. Robert McKinney, Jay Bransom, Mitch McMillin, Marvin Skinner, and Austin Carter, rounded out the top ten. Nineteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: It appeared that Justin Nabors, No. 28j, held off Glen Hibbard, No. 127, for the exciting SportMod feature win. After tech, Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was declared the winner, giving him his first SportMod feature win of the season. Jake UpChurch, No. 24, had a strong run for second, James Willis, No. 2w, was third, Gary Fox, No. 12, was fourth, and John South, No. 34s, was fifth. Bret Young, James Skinner, Todd West, Kevin Manning, and Ronnie Allison, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature. 

Justin Nabors failed to past tech, giving the win to Glen Hibbard.
