A full moon plus a Demolition Derby made for an exciting night of racing at Kennedale Speedway Park

A great crowd was on hand to see some exciting races.

There was a full moon over Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night! That made for a wild and crazy night of racing. A great crowd was on hand to watch some wall to wall racing, wrecks, plus a Demolition Derby! Check out all the racing action from Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night below!

Sprint Car Feature Winner: Logan Scherb, No. 18, drove a good race, but with less than five laps to go in the twenty lap feature, veteran George White, No. 10, passed him for the win! Logan Payne, No. 2, ended up second, Logan Scherb settled for third, Chad Wilson, No. 20, had a good run for fourth and Zane Lawrence, No. 76, was fifth. Rod Craddock, Bryan Debrick, Lucas Scherb, Bobby Middleton, and Robery Byrom, rounded out the top ten. Fifteen cars started the feature.

Jeb Sessums was involved in a wreck during his heat race.

Modified Feature Winner: Demetrius Carter, No. 44, returned to the winners circle! Robert McKinney, No. 19, was second, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was third, Mitch McMillin, No. 61, was fourth and Charlie Thieme, No. t9, was fifth. Erik Miles, Mark Shipman, Marvin Skinner, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, and Dalton Pike, rounded out the top ten.  Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: In one of the wildest feature races you will see this season, Jake UpChurch, No. 24, held on for the feature win! Glen Hibbard, No. 127, gave it all he had, but ended up third, Kevin Crawford Jr., No. 06, took second, Kyle Wilkins, No. 7mk, was fourth and Kamera McDonald, No. 62k, was fifth. Bret Young, Jay Coone, Gary Fox, David Redman, and Austin Neubauer, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. Stock Car Feature Winner: Aaron Benedict, No. 77, was declared the feature winner after tech. "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was second, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Colton Obregon, No. 39c, was fourth and Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was fifth. Gregory Muirhead, Blake Clark, Jerrett Bransom, Caleb Crewshaw, and Shawn Mize, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Jeff Hauser, No. 18x, was your Factory Stock feature winner. Brett McMillin, No. 61, was second, "Flyin" Ryan Powers, No. r12, was third, Willie Tryon, No. 04x, was fourth and Tim Holder, No. 8h, was fifth. Frank Lackey, Kyle Robillard, John Skinner, Jamey Lough, and Justin Grogg, rounded out the top ten, Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Jimmy Rawkins, No. 8, was the winner. Carson Cherry, Hailee Nieto, William Holland, Justin Anderson, and Brody Tarrant rounded out the field.

600 A-class Mini Sprint Feature Winner: It appeared that Landon Zakalowski, No. 57, got the win, but he was later DQ. Trevor Goad, No. 14t, settled for the win. John Roan, No. 1, was second, Chipper Wood, No. 47, was third, Chance Hull, No. 7, was fourth and Bryan Debrick, No. 10, was fifth. Kirk Edmonson, Mogan Roan, Casey Merrell, Bradley Ivie, Devin Debrick, and Calen Mohler, rounded out the field. 

Devin Debrick lost a wheel and wrecked during the feature.

Jason Tyer took the exciting POWRi Lonestar 600's Mini Sprints feature at Heart O Texas Speedway

It was Autism Awareness Night at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX! The raising Awareness for Autism Night was rained out last month! Half of the Heart O Texas Speedways 50/50 drawing was donated to the Heart Of Texas Autism Network! Thanks to all the race fans that purchased tickets and donated money to HOTAN! A great organization that helps children of families with Autism. The POWRi Lonestar 600's Mini Sprints made their first of three appearances this season at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night! Along with the Mini Sprints were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Minis!

The POWRi Lonestar 600's tour continues Saturday, April 28, at 281 Speedway in Stephenville, TX!

600's Mini Sprints Feature Winner: A good race between Johnny Boland, No. 1v, and Jason Tyer, No. 12. About half way through the 25-lap feature, Jason took the lead, but a caution came out. Johnny Boland regained the lead, but with two laps to go his engine failed, giving Jason the lead and the $750 feature win. Weldon Buford, No. 01, ended up second, Dustin Davidson, No. 2d, was third, Morgan Roan, No. 15, was fourth and Trey Burke, No. 63, was fifth. Chase Randall, Bryan Debrick, Blake Moeller, Preston Perlmutter, and Chance Hull, rounded out the top ten. A full field of 25-cars started the feature.

Chase Randall No. 9r had a top ten finish.

Restrictor Feature Winner: Ryan Timms, No. 5t, got by Chase Hyland, No. 5, on the last lap to take the exciting $300 feature win. Timothy Watson III, No. 27t, was third, Jayton Brown, No. 11, was fourth and Landen Zakalowski, No. 57, was fifth. Ryder Laplante, Thomas Hall Jr., Wyatt Wilkerson, Stephens Yates, Christopher Townsend, Kamirin Cook, Kinsley Cook, and Dylan Still, rounded out the field.

Modified Feature Winner: Picking up his first Modified feature, was Rob Slott, No. 48r! William McGuire, No. 9, was second, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was third, Kevin Green, No. 5, was fourth and Chris Morris, No. 94, had a good run for fifth. Brandon Hood, Colin Deming, Cody Daniel, Jerry Frydrych, Rodney Twardeski, Brent Gilliam, Justin Radcliff, and Danny Rodgers, rounded out the field.

SportMod Feature Winner: Hayden Wade, No. 8w3, picked up his first HOT feature win of the season! Justin Nabors, No. 28j, was second, Gabe Tucker, No. 95, was third, James Guyton, No. 68, was fourth and Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, was fifth. Kyle Wilkins, Jacob Pirkle, Kamera McDonald, Eddie Grmela, and Eva McKenrick, rounded out the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

Justin Bruce, Travis Norman, John Frydrych, Andy Roller, and Don Chamblee, rounded out the field.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: It was touch and go for a while in tech for Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151k. Tommy's car finally past and he got the feature win! Michael Guenat, No. 25, was second, Phillip Smith, No. 630, was third, Shannon Dulock, No. 47, was fourth and Tim Homeyer, No. 8*, was fifth. Kevin Ramey, Cameron Cook, Steve Wade, Dalton Faulkner, and Jason Gamez, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-five cars started the feature.

Kennedale Speedway Park will be running a full program this Saturday, April 28 plus the IMCA Sprints, 600 Mini Sprints and a DEMO DERBY! SPORTMODS will be running for an extra $100 to the top FIFTEEN positions THANKS to MIKE FRIERI PHOTOS! Gates open at 5 pm, racing starts at 7 pm!

Just one more day till the POWRI Lone Star 600's grace the speedway for the first of three events this Season. Come on out and watch some great Mini Sprint action. Also come out and support Autism Awareness, purchase a 50/50 ticket and spend time with your fellow friends. All proceeds from the 50/50 drawing and any donations will be given to the Heart Of Texas Autism Network. Eric Tomlinson takes the exciting IMCA Modified feature win at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night

Mother Nature took care of the race fans at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! After two weeks of rain outs, the sun finally shined on Heart O Texas Speedway! HOT celebrated it with some great racing and a Drivers Meet and Greet! Also it was Kids Night with all kids 12 and under receiving a FREE general admission ticket! During intermission, race fans were invited onto the track to meet and greet the drivers! The drivers took pictures and signed autographs. It was a great way to show the race fans know how much the track appreciates their weekly support! The regular racing program included all classes including the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Minis!

Modified Feature Winner: Starting from the ninth position, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, last years HOT IMCA Modified Champion, worked his way to the front to take the Modified victory! Kevin Green, No. 5, was second, Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was third, William McGuire, No. 9, had a strong run for fourth and David Goode, No. 7g, was fifth. Cody Daniel, Jerry Frydrych, Dean Deming, Raymond McSpadden, and David Goode Sr., rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Gabe Tucker, No. 95, ran off from the field to take the feature win. Brandon Geurin, No. 12, was second, T.J. Lucas Scherb sprinted to his first RaceSaver Sprint feature win at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night

It was cold and windy Saturday night at Kennedale Speedway Park! Several Dirt tracks in the area were rained out, but KSP was up and running despite the weather. The Kennedale Speedway Park racing family got to see a full racing program that featured the IMCA RaceSaver 305 Sprints! Picking up his first IMCA Sprint feature of the season was Lucas Scherb, No. 22! Along with the Sprint Cars, were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks. Next Saturday, April 21, KSP will host their first COMPACT DEMO DERBY of the season along with a full race program including the LoneStar Dwarf Car Club!

Sprint Car Feature Winner: It was smooth sailing for Lucas Scherb, No. 22. Lucas picked up his first IMCA feature win of the season! Chad Wilson, No. 20, drove a good race for second, Tucker Doughty, No. 2xx, was third, Colby Estes, No. 71, was fourth and John Kilmer, No. 56, was fifth. Kenny Venable, Dillon Laden, Shane Gloeckler, Jeff Long, and Bob Odom, rounded out the top ten. A good field of twenty-one cars started the feature.

Chad Wilson had a solid second in the Sprint feature.

Several Sprints were involved in a bad wreck during the Sprint feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Chad Melton, No. 71, almost got the Modified feature win Friday night at Boyd Raceway. Chad had to settle for second. Saturday night was a different story. Chad Melton made this one look easy. Chad drove away from the field for the Modified feature win. Jay Bransom, No. 29, was second, Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was third, Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was fourth and "CAM Chassis" Chase Allen, No. 130, was fifth. Justin McCoy, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, Matt Martin, Matt Guillaume, and Chad Guest, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Jeffrey Abbey took the fourth spot.

SportMod Feature Winner: Good top see Glen Hibbard, No. 127, back after a hard crash two weeks ago! Glen had a good run but faded with a couple of laps to go to end up fourth. Taking the win was Jake UpChurch, No. 24! James Skinner, No. 17s, was second, James McCreery, No. 13j, was third, and Kamera McDonald, No. 62k, were your top five. Rickey Haney, Kevon Crawford  Jr., Kevin Crawford, Jay Coone, and Kaden Honeycutt, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

Good to see Glen Hibbard back after a bad wreck two weeks ago.

Stock Car Feature Winner: "Wild Child Chassis" Damon Hammond, No. 116, drove a good race, but Dean Abbey, No. 26, powered his way past Damon with less than five laps to go for the feature win! Randall Zilka Kahanek, No. 3k, was third, Tyler Smith, No. 24t, was fourth and Andy Roller, No. 63, was fifth. Clint Nabors, Frank Hendershot, Todd Ludwick, Brad Eckstrom, and Allan Blain, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the feature.
