The Sprints returned to Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Making their first appearance of the season, were the Texas Sprint Series (TSS). The Texas Sprint Series feature the Winged 305 IMCA RaceSaver Sprints! Along with the Sprints were the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks and the Jr. Mini Stocks! Next Saturday, March 31, there will be a FREE Easter baskets give-a-way for the kids along with a full race program that includes the RaceSaver Sprints and the 600 A-class Mini Sprints!
Jeff Emerson had a solid second place finish.

Texas Sprint Series Feature Winner: A good field of twenty-eight TSS Sprints competed for the 20-spots in the 20-lap feature Saturday night. Local Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, ran-away with this one! Jeff Emerson, No. 35, settled for second, Jerry Hammock, No. 4, was third, veteran George White, No. 10x, was fourth and Dustin Woods, No. 00, was fifth. Chase Parson, Christian Kinnison, Bud Hanna, Bryan Debrick, and J.D. Fry, rounded out the top ten. Twenty cars started the feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Justin McCoy, No. 87, muscled his way to the front in the 20-lap Modified A-main and took the feature win! Matt Guillaume, No. 50, had a good run for second, CAM Chassis Chase Allen, No. 130, was third, Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was fourth and Matt Martin, No. 11, was fifth. Mitch McMillin, Marvin Skinner, Demetrius Carter, Mark Shipman, and Austin Gooding, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: After tech, Jon White Jr., No. 8j, was declared the feature winner, Justin Long, No. 42, was second, James McCreery, No. 13j, was third, John Robozzi, No. 90, was fourth and Kyle Wilkins, No. 7mk, was fifth. James Skinner, Tory Yant, Jay Coone, Gary Fox, and Justin Hossler, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature.
Great to see Ashley Holbert carrying on the family racing tradition.

Stock Car Feature Winner: It was not pretty, but Jay Bransom, No. 29, will take it! Several cars were battling for the lead allowing Jay to slip past them and take over the Stock Car lead! Jay held on to get his first feature win of the season. Gary Nabors, No. 59, was second, Craig Moss, No. 25, was third, "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fourth and Aaron Benedict, No. 77a, was fifth. Clint Nabors, Jarrett Bransom, Billy Wade, Kelvin Harper, and Chad Burress, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Lance Hanson Jr., No. 5h, picked up the feature win. Tommy Williams Jr., was close, but ended up second, Trey Smitherman, No. 96, had a good run for third, Justin Grogg, No. 25, was fourth and Sean Hill, No. 504, was fifth. Frank Lackey, A.J. Gardner, Ricky Sessions, Brett McMillin, and Kenny Magar, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: After tech, Hailee Nieto was declared the feature winner. Brody Tarrant, William Holland, Carson Cherry, Eric Nieto, Jimmy Rawlins, Devin Manning, rounded out the field.
