It was a good Friday for racing at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX. Along with some exciting races, over 100 kids received an Easter Basket! The Easter Basket giveaway is an annual event and Heart O Texas Speedway would like to thank everyone that donated an Easter Basket! Friday nights racing program consisted of six classes of cars that included the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, Outlaw Street Stocks, and the Jr. Mini Stocks.
Next Friday, April 6, will be Autism Awareness Night with all the proceeds from donations and 50/50 drawings going to the Heart of Texas Autism Network. The Texas Wing Modifieds will make their first appearance of the season along with five other classes!

Modified Feature Winner: Due to the rain earlier in the week, the track was a little rough. It was just a bump in the road for last years Heart O Texas Speedways IMCA Modified Champion Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t. Eric powered his way past the competition for the Modified feature win! William McGuire, No. 9, was second, J.P. Dowell, No. 91, was third, Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was fourth and David Goode, No. 7g, was fifth. Raymond McSpadden, Tom Earl III, Ryan Williams, Cody Daniel, and Rodney Twardeski, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: T.J. Green, No. 5, saw the green flag and he was off to the races! Gabe Tucker, No. 95, was closing in, but settled for second, Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was third, James Hanusch, No. 777, was fourth and Jeff Shepperd, No. 17, was fifth. Sid Kiphen, Trevor Ramey, Kyle Wilkins, Taylor Florio, and Brandon Geurin, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, picked up another feature win! Travis Norman, No. 3x, was second, Westin Abbey, No. 12, was third, Dean Abbey, No. 26, was fourth and Brandon Hood, No. 1b, was fifth. Joe O'Bryan, Mark Adams, John Frydrych, Justin Wierenga, and Benny Fajkus, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Lance Hanson Jr., No. 5h, was the feature winner. Kevin Ramey, No. 7g, settled for second, Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, was third, Shannon Dulock, No. 47, was fourth and Dennis Bissonnette, No. 818, was your top five. Phillip Smith, Joe O'Bryan, Chance Morris, Dylan Moss, and Tom Earl III rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

Outlaw Street Stocks Feature Winner: Wade White, No. 68, held off Kevin Smith, No. 771, for the exciting Outlaw Street Stock feature win. Drew Garcia, No. 9g, was third, Joe Williams, No. 32, was fourth and Matthew Hawken, No. 00, was fifth. David Khoury, Tim Ellis, Eddie Thompson, Danny Sykora, and Nathan Sykora rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stocks Feature Winner: Austin Moore picked up another feature win! Jesse Shepperd, Alysha McCartney, Corbin Willett, Trevor Cogburn, and Jack Johnson, rounded out the field.
