LoneStar Speedway, in Kilgore, TX, wrapped up their 2017 racing season with their Annual Wayne Harris Memorial LoneStar Speedway Turkey Nationals! The $34,000 LoneStar Speedway COMP Cams Turkey Nationals featured the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), presented by Lucas Oil, Late Models! Thirty-two topless Late Models, from a six state region, battled it out for the twenty-two starting positions in the $5,000 to win, $500 to start, 40-lap feature! Congratulations to Timothy Culp, No. c8, on winning the $5,000 LoneStar Speedway Turkey Nationals, and Jack Sullivan, No. 18, for picking up his third straight CCSDS title!
CCSDS Late Model Feature Winner: Both Timothy Culp, No. c8, and Tyler Erb, No. 91, had flat tires during the feature and were sent to the back of the field. That didn't seem to slow them down any! Timothy Culp, No. c8, raced to the front and took home the $5,000 first prize in the exciting 40-lap feature! Coming in second with a strong run was Zach McMillin, No. 14, Tyler Erb, No. 91, settled for third, Jon Mitchell, No. 5, was fourth and B.J. Robinson, No. 01, was fifth. Hard Charger Patrik Daniel, H. Rasdon, T. Beene, R. Baker, and R. Adams, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the 40-lap feature.
Zach McMillin, No. 14, had a solid second place finish.
Tyler Erb, No. 91, worked his way from the back to third.
Jack Sullivan, No. 18, picked up his third CCSDS Championship.
Several Late Models were involved in a wreck during the feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Chris Henigan, No. 16, was your 20-lap, $1,500 Modified feature winner! G.W. Egbert, No. 717, was second, Chase Halton, No. 211, was third, Robert Taylor, No. 13, was fourth and Max Eddie Thomas, No. 82, was fifth. K. Whitworth, D. Hyde, J. Sartain, B. Burtchin, and D. Hood, rounded out the top ten. Twenty cars started the 20-lap feature.

Limited Modified Feature Winner: Tommy Davis Jr., No. 25c, lead every lap of the $750 to win, 20-lap, Limited Modified feature. Ricky Ingalls, No. 81, was second, Jason Tiner, No. 11, was third, Jason Ingalls, No. 12, was fourth, and James Hanusch, No. 777, was fifth. B. Dosser, S. Charlton, B. Brutchin, Z. Sydney, and B. Evans, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the 20-lap feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Billy Joe Brutchin, No. 30, picked up the $500 to win in the 20-lap feature. Skeet Amason, No. f5, was second, Scotty Nichols, No. n1, was third, Quinton Jackson, No. 34x, was fourth and Jamey Lough, No. 39, was fifth. B. Edwards, B. Davis, O. Simpkins, C. Graham, and C. Costlow, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-carts started the feature.

Jerry Kersten had a top ten finish.
FWD 4-cyl Feature Winner: Mark Wittig, No. 7, was your feature winner. Morgan Powell, No. 21m, was second, Justin Converse, No. c49, was third, Mike Staples, No. 14s, was fourth and Scotty Crowston, No. 51, was fifth. A. Davis, K. Kristen, T. Goodin, J. Kersten, and L. Wheat, rounded out the top ten. A strong field of nineteen cars started the feature.
One hundred and forty race teams were in the pits.
