Friday was qualifying night at Kennedale Speedway Park. This was the second of three nights of racing for Kennedale Speedway Parks 11th Annual Summit Racing Equipment Showdown! Thursday night was practice night. Friday night four classes of cars attempted to qualify for Saturdays features. The top six cars in each class of the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, IMCA Stock Cars and the Factory Stocks locked themselves into Saturdays A-mains! The Showdown continues Saturday with five classes of cars including the IMCA Sprints. Saturday’s showcard will wrap up the 2017 racing season with the exciting Trailer Race!

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: The Jr. Mini Stocks wrapped up their 2017 racing season with a $150 to win, $50 to start A-main. Ten cars started the feature. Jarrett Helfer, No. 88j, the 2017 Champion, took the checkered flag and the feature win! Devin Manning, No. 96m, Eric Nieto, No. 53, Jimmy Rawlins, No. 8, and Zachary Wisdom, No. 91, were your top five. Ten cars started the feature.
