It was the final points night of the season at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. A nice crowd was on hand along with seven classes of cars. The guest class this week was the 600 A-class Mini Sprints along with Kennedale Speedway Parks regular classes. The IMCA Modifieds, RaceSaver Sprints, SportMods, Stock Cars, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks! Next week the 2017 racing season concludes with the 11th Annual Summit Racing Equipment Showdown that will run next Thursday-Saturday, September 28-30!

Matt Guillaume got a second in the Mod feature, but is 2017 Champion!
Modified Feature Winner: Nicholas Littlejohn, No. 51, held off the 2017 Modified Champion Matt Guillaume, No. 50, for the win. Jason Hunter, No. 13h, was third, Chad Melton, No. 71, was fourth and Charlie Thieme, No. t9, was fifth. "Destroyer Chassis" D. Campbell, M. Skinner, C. Clark, A. Gooding, and C. Lyles, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: The track was fast! The preferred line was the high line. Veteran George White, No. 10, held off the 2017 Sprint Champion Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, for the exciting win. Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was third, Kyle Jones, No. 04, was fourth and Anton Hernadez, No. 11tx, was fifth. W. Gorham, C. Estes, J. Ricketts, B. Odom, and J. Long, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: A good race between John Rabozzi, No. 90, James Skinner, No. 17s, and Karl Rupp, No. 42. When the checkered flag dropped, John was the winner, James was second, Corey Williams, No. 511, was third, Karl ended up fourth and John Freeman, No. 21f, was fifth. M. Doescher, D. Cavanagh, K. Manning, K. McDonald, and C. Brunson, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, got past Damon Hammond, No. 116, for the feature win. Craig Moss, No. 25, was third, Rhea Toney, No. 86, was fourth and Demetrius Carter, No. 3, was fifth. Jerrett Bransom, W. Ingram, B. Taylor, B. Clark, and Jay Bransom, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Brett McMillin, No. 61, defeated George Gafford, No. 85, for the win. 2017 Champion A.J. Gardner, No. 21, was third, Mike Shackleford, No. 09, was fourth and Chase Neill, No. 416, was fifth. L. Hanson Jr., M. Mason, S. Hill, J. Capps, and K. Magar, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
