It was Kids Night at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX! Along with six classes of cars, featuring the IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks, the kids were treated to the Mars Wrigley Confectionery Kids Silver Rush. Children were allowed on the front stretch to pick up some coins and candy during intermission. Several lucky kids also received a free school backpack compliments of the drivers, crews and race fans!
CAM Chassis Chase Allen had a strong run in the feature.
Modified Feature Winner: CAM Chassis Chase Allen, driving the new No. 930, appeared to pick up the IMCA Modified feature win Friday night at HOT. Chase failed tech for missing a portion of his rear spoiler, giving the feature win to John Gober, No. 52. This was Johns first Modified feature win of the season at HOT. Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, ended up second, Robert McKinney, No. 119, was third, William Gould, No. 60, was fourth and David Goode Sr., No. 13g, was fifth. B. Hood, C. Daniel, M. McCarthy, M. Guillaume, and E. Tomlinson, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Another great race between Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, and Sid Kipen, No. 58. Jeffrey held him off to take the exciting feature win. Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was third, James Guyton, No. 68, was fourth and Will Carter, No. 8c, was fifth. J. Hanusch, T. Florio, K. McDonald, R. Pierce, and N. Buchanan, rounded out the top ten. Twenty cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Dillion Smith, No. 03, fought off Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, for the exciting finish. Westin Abbey, No. 12, had a strong run for third, Kenny Merritt, No. v18, was fourth and Ronnie Warren, No. 34w, was fifth. D. Hammond, W. White, S. Sovey, J. Bransom, J. Frydrych, and K. Martin. rounded out the field.

Hobby Stock Feature Winner: Joe "Dirt" Williams, No. 32, held off the current points leader Shannon Dulock, No. 47, for a close win. Stacey Robinette, No. 43, was third, Jordan Kornegay, No. 21j, was fourth and Hayden Wade, No. 8w3, was fifth. K. Smith, R. Sodek, D. Snyder, C. Rawls, N. Sodek, and E. Thompson, rounded out the field.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Greg Andrews, No. 12, was the feature winner. A close second, was current points leader Ryan Hopkins, No. 4. Jamie Herring, No. 222, was third, Blaine Simcik, No. 4d4, was fourth and Justiun Harcourt, No. 71h, was fifth. W. Abbey, B. Gaston, J. Pittman, M. Guenat, and J. Shepperd, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Bradley Warren, No. 34w, was the feature winner. Jesse Shepperd, No. 17, was second, Austin Moore, No. 88, ended up third, and Corbin Willett, No. 3, was fourth and Trevor Cogburn, No. 601, was fifth.
HOT welcomed the Baylor Bears football team to the races.
The kids enjoyed the Silver Rush and candy at intermission.
