Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell was the Modified winner at Kennedale Speedway Park

Kennedale Speedway Park was able to get a full race program in despite weather in the area from Hurricane Harvey. There were five classes of cars in the pit plus the 600 A-class Mini Sprints. Next Week Kennedale Speedway Park will again feature a full race program plus the always exciting Demolition Derby!

A.J. Hutton found himself up side down in the Modified feature.

Modified Feature Winner: "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, picked up another Modified feature win Saturday night. Chris Clark, No. 4m. was second, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was fourth and Charlie Thieme, No. t9, was fifth. M. Martin, M. Guillaume, C. Morris, M. McMillin, and A.J. Hutton, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

KSPs racing family welcomed IMCA Modified driver Chris Morris.

Sprint Feature Winner: Great to see Bryan Debrick, No. 10x, back in the winners circle. John Ricketts, No. 5r, had a good run for second, Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, was third, Corby Scherb, No. 32, was fourth and Kyle Jones, No., 04, was fifth. J. Sessums, L. Scherb, C. Wilson, R. Hall, and B. Bryant, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was your feature winner. CAM Chassis Chase Allen storms to the Modified win at Heart O Texas Speedway

While Hurricane Harvey made land fall along the Texas Gulf Coast, six classes of cars raced up a storm at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! The IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks plus the Lone Star Dwarf Car Club. The Dwarf Cars made their last scheduled race of the regular season. Next week it is another HOT racing program plus the Lone Star 600 Mini Sprint Shootout!

Modified Feature Winner: CAM Chassis Chase Allen, No. 930, battled his way to the front and drove away with the IMCA Modified feature win! Chase mentioned that this was his sixteenth Modified feature win of the season! Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, settled for second, Brandon Hood, No. 1b, was third, Paul White, No. 2, was fourth and Justin McCoy, No. 87, was fifth. J. Gober, D. Goode Jr., R. McKinney, R. McSpadden, and W. Gould, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature. 

Eric Tomlinson had a solid second place finish.

SportMod Feature Winner: "Trooper" D.L. Wilson, No. 6w, celebrated his daughters birthday with a feature win! Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was second, Garrett Rawls, No. 4g, was third, Gabe Tucker, No. 95, was fourth and James McCreery, No. 13j, was fifth. J. Nabors, J. Shepperd, J. Hanusch, T. Whitmire, and M. Doescher, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature. SPECIAL THANKS to Jeff Hunter Toyota for adding $250 to the SportMod purse for a total of $650 to win!

Stock Car Feature Winner: "Kaptain" Kirk Martin, made it two feature wins in-a-row! It was a close race between Kirk and Dillion Smith, No. 03. Kirk Matin held off Dillion for the exciting feature win! Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725, was third, Jerrett Branson, No. 28, was fourth and Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fifth. J. O'Bryan, R. Black. R. Warren, R. Shipman, and A. Roller, rounded out the top ten. Fifteen cars started the feature .

Hobby Stock Feature Winner: Current points leader Shannon Dulock, No. 47, was your feature winner. Jacob Pirke picked up the $1,000 SportMod feature win at Kennedale Speedway Park

There was $1,000 up for grabs to the winner of the IMCA SportMod feature at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Thanks to our sponsors: Mike Frieri Photos, Star 1 Roofing & Construction, Performance Transmission, C & P Pump Services and Bonham Motorsports - Team 66, the total IMCA SportMod purse was over $5,000! A good field of thirty-three SportMods were in the house and they were ready to compete for the “cool” cash and the impressive IMCA SportMod feature win! 

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, has had trouble keeping his car together the last few races! That wasn't a problem Saturday night, as he took the checkered flag and the $1,000 to win IMCA SportMod feature! James McCreery, No. 13j, had a good run for second, Gabe Tucker, No. 95, was third, Matt Doescher, No. 3, was fourth and Justin Nabors, No. 28j, was fifth. J. Skinner, G. Muirhead, J. Freeman, G. Fox, and K. Manning, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature. 

James McCreery, No. 13j, had a good run for second.

Sprint Feature Winner: A good race between Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, and Joey Starnes, No. 5b. Marcus slipped past Joey for the win. Factory Stock Feature Winner: Brett McMillin, No. 61, had a great run, but with one lap to go, in the 20-lap feature, he hit a tire coming out of turn 4, and broke his car. Calvin Williams, No. 11w, and Cameron Cook, No. 04, battled for the lead! Calvin got past Cameron for the exciting win. Mike Shackleford, No. 09, was third, Kenny Magar, No. 84, was fourth and A.J. Gardner, No. 21g, was fifth. M. Mason, G. Gafford, J. Miller, J. Harcourt, and J. Stephens, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

Tommy Bryant was the ASCS Gulf South Region feature winner at Heart O Texas Speedway

Tommy Bryant was the Sprint feature winner.

The American Sprint Car Series Gulf South Region returned to Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! There were twenty-one ASCS Gulf South Region Sprints in the pits along with five classes of cars. The always exciting IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, and Factory Stocks. A great crowd was on hand and they were ready for some HOT racing!

Sprint Feature Winner: It did not pay to lead this race! Current Points leader Ray Allen Kulhanek, No. 21t, took the early lead. Sadly twelve laps into the twenty-five lap feature, his car got a flat tire. Caleb Martin, No. 51, took over the lead, but with four laps remaining, his car broke on the from straight-a-way! Tommy Bryant, sawblade.com, No. 28, saw an opening and took the lead and the $2,000 feature win! Coming in second, was Seth Bergman, No. 23, Dalton Stevens, No. 99x, was third, Scottie McDonald, No. 88, was fourth and Jacob Lucas, No. 57, was fifth. M. Melton, D. Gates, J. Jenkins, T. Hall, and Z. Lawrence, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the feature. 

Caleb Martin, No. 51, had a strong run.

Seth Bergman had a solid second place finish.

Modified Feature Winner: Last week, John Gober, No. 52, won by default! Friday night, John lead every lap of the IMCA Modified 20-lap feature. Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was second, Robert McKinney, No. 119, was third, William McGuire, No. 9, was fourth and Chase Allen, No. 930, was fifth. D. Grantham, M. Guillaume, E. But they must have done a really good job of building it, because Chris lead every lap of the 20-lap feature! James Guyton, No. 68, was second, T.J. John Gober gets the exciting Modified feature win at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night

John Gober was declared the Modified feature winner.

August 11 (Friday)

It was Kids Night at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX! Along with six classes of cars, featuring the IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks, the kids were treated to the Mars Wrigley Confectionery Kids Silver Rush. Children were allowed on the front stretch to pick up some coins and candy during intermission. Several lucky kids also received a free school backpack compliments of the drivers, crews and race fans! 

CAM Chassis Chase Allen had a strong run in the feature. 

Modified Feature Winner: CAM Chassis Chase Allen, driving the new No. 930, appeared to pick up the IMCA Modified feature win Friday night at HOT. Chase failed tech for missing a portion of his rear spoiler, giving the feature win to John Gober, No. 52. This was Johns first Modified feature win of the season at HOT. Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, ended up second, Robert McKinney, No. 119, was third, William Gould, No. 60, was fourth and David Goode Sr., No. 13g, was fifth. B. Hood, C. Daniel, M. McCarthy, M. Guillaume, and E. Tomlinson, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Another great race between Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, and Sid Kipen, No. 58. Jeffrey held him off to take the exciting feature win. Jay Bransom was the IMCA Modified feature winner at Kennedale Speedway Park

Jay Bransom was the Modified feature winner.

Jay Bransom, No. 29, came up a little short in the IMCA Stock Car feature at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. But in the IMCA Modified feature, there was no stopping him. Jay powered his way to the front and took the 20-lap, Modified A-main. Dean Abby, No. 26, Boyd Raceways feature winner Friday night, caught up with Jay, but was unable to pass him! Dean settled for second, Justin McCoy, No. 87, was third, Mitch McMillin, No. 61, was fourth and Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, was fifth. M. Guillaume, D. Campbell, B. Wilten, C. Clark, and C. Melton, rounded out the top ten. Seventeen cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, made it look easy in the Sprint feature. Marcus picked up another feature win. With one lap to go, in the 20-lap event, Jay Bransom, No. 29, got squeezed into the the back straight-a-way wall causing him to spin! Veteran Craig Moss, No. 25, took over the lead and the feature win. Colton Obregon, No. 39c, was second, Randall Zilka Kahanek, No. 5k, was third, Jarrett Bransom, No. 28, was fourth and Clint Nabors, No. 95, was fifth. G. Nabors, J. Bruce, M. Wofford, R. Toney, and Jay Bransom, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

Twenty-one cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Jordan Hefler, No. 2j, got another win. Jarrett Hefler, No. 88, was second, Devin Manning, No. 96m, was third, Jimmy Rawlins, and Joel Goff, No. 26, was fifth. R. Mustard, B. Tarrant, and E. Nieto, rounded out the field.

Mitchell Clements cashed in crazy thousand to win Factory Stock feature at Boyd Raceway

Mitchell Clements was the Factory Stock feature winner.

It was a Championship Night at the Bullring Friday night! Champions were crowned at Boyd Raceway in five classes of cars, including the IMCA Modifieds, Southern SportMods, Stock Cars, Factory Stocks and Sport Compacts. The Factory Stocks were running for $1,000 to win! Special thanks to Stephenville Starter & Electric for sponsoring this race! Boyd Raceways next race is the Annual Grand Nationals to be held October 6 and 7!

Chance Hull ended up second, but took home the drivers pot!

Factory Stock Feature Winner: It was a wild and crazy Factory Stock feature at Boyd Raceway Friday night. One thousand dollars was up for grabs in the 25-lap feature. Walter Hamilton, No. 1w, had a strong run, but with eleven laps to go, he broke, opening the door for Chance Morris, No. 6. Chance and Jeffrey Abbey, No. 84, battled it out for several laps, but on the last lap they got together allowing Mitchell Clements, No. 21t, to slip past them for the exciting feature win. Mitchell started from the thirteenth position! Chance Morris, settled for second, Sean Hill, No. 504, was third, Rickey Sessions, No. 7, was fourth and Josh Landers, No. 14x, was fifth. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Race fans raised close to $1,500 in the Factory Stock drivers auction!

Walter Hamilton, No. 1w, had a strong run.

Modified Feature Winner: William Gould, No. 60, and Chris Bragg, No. 24b, had a good race going. But with less than 10 laps remaining, in the 20-lap feature, Dean Abbey, No. 26, managed to get around them, for the feature win. Dean started in the eleventh position! Bragg, got second, Gould ended up third, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was fourth and Chris Elliott, No. 9, was fifth. Twenty-one cars started the feature.

William Gould had a top three finish.

Southern SportMod Feature Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was your feature winner. Ronnie Bell, No. 195, was second, Allen Montgomery, No. 38, was third, Tommy Dove, No. 10d, was fourth and Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was fifth. Twenty-one cars started the feature.
