Current IMCA RaceSaver Sprint National points leader Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, took the Sprint feature at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Twelve Sprints started the 20-lap feature. Veteran George White, No. 10, was second, Chipper Wood, No. 47, was third, Grand Duinkerken, No. 67g, was fourth, and Chad Wilson, No. 20, was fifth. J. Starnes, C. Scherb, A. McCall Jr., B. Bryant, L. Scherb, and N. Littlejohn, rounded out the field.

Race Videos! Sorry race fans, Don was sick Saturday. I was able to get the 600 A-class and some of the SportMods, before I had to leave!!

Modified Feature Winner: It was nice to see Dean Abbey, No. 26, back at KSP! Dean took advantage of it, by taking the exciting Modified feature win. Robert McKinney, No. 19, had a good run for second, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Chad Melton, No. 71, was fourth and Robert Scrivner, No. 53, was fifth. M. McMillin, M. Martin, C. Campbell, C. Thieme, and D. Burington, rounded out the top ten. Fifteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jake UpChurch, No. 24, returned to the winners circle. James McCreery, No. 13j, was second, James Skinner, was third, Gary Fox, No. 12, was fourth and Casey Brunson, No. 10, was fifth. T. Yant, D. Cavanagh, T. Walp, J. Rabozzi, and K. Manning, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the feature.

RPM Speedway, in Crandall, TX, hosted their third Annual Hella Shrine Classic Friday Night. This is one of the biggest and best events of the year at RPM Speedway! A great crowd and car count was on hand to support this awesome event! Shriners Hospitals for Children offer love to the rescue for children in need! The Hella Shrine Classic continues Saturday at the Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX! Gates open at 6 pm and racing starts at 8:30 pm! Please come out and support this great cause!

Touring Outlaw Modified Series TOMS Feature Winner: Current TOMS points leader Triston Dycus, No. 14t, lead every lap of the 25-lap feature. Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, was a solid second, C.A. Nix, No. 34n, was third, Veteran Troy Taylor, No. 56, was fourth and Kyle Westover, No. 15w, was fifth. J. Webb, J. Needham, S. Oneal, J. Sartain, and B. Brierton, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

C.A. Nix had a solid third place finish.

RaceSaver Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, had a good run, but with six laps to go, in the 20-lap feature, he was involved in a wreck. That opened the door for Justin Fifield, No. 52x, who went on the take the feature win. Tucker Doughty, No. 2x, was second, Dustin Woods, No. 00, was third, Jason Howell, No. 72, was fourth and Dale Wester, No. 12w, was fifth. R. Vetter, G. Duinkerken, J. Day Jr., J. Carney, and M. Baccus, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Rowdy Day had a strong run for second place. 

USA Limited Modified Feature Winner: Current points leader, Tommy Davis Jr., No. 17, was the feature winner. Giving him a good run was Rowdy Day, No. 20d, for second, Bo Day, No. 4x, was third, Bobby Ruffin, No. 121, was fourth and Tory Yant, No. 00y, was fifth. J. White Jr., M. Thomas, S. Nabors, J. Walker, E. Luttrell, rounded out the top ten.  Twenty-cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: It took awhile to run this 20-lap feature! When the checkered flag finally waived, Walter Hamilton, No. 1w, was the feature winner. Byron Fletcher, No. 33f, had a good run for second, Tommy McKinley, No. 71m, was third, Lee McCullough, No. 613, was fourth and Scott Carlisle, No. 7c, was fifth. B. Gatlin, S. McFarlin, T. Crawford, J. Hammitt, and D. Thomas, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-two cars started the feature. 

Byron Fletcher had a solid second place finish.

It was hot outside, but the racing was hotter at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Last weeks Modified feature was one of the best races of the year at KSP. Matt Guillaume, No. 50, defeated Matt Martin, No. 11, for the exciting Modified feature win. Saturday night, Matt Guillaume made it look easy. Matt picked up his second Modified feature win in-a-row at Kennedale Speedway Park. Justin McCoy, No. 87, was second, Jimmy Littlejohn, No. 87, was third, Robert McKinney, No. 19, was fourth and "Destroyer Chassis" Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fifth. C. Clark, J. Bransom, M. McMillin, M. Martin, and A. Gooding, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen Cars started the feature.

Eric Tomlinson defeats Kevin Green for exciting Modified win at Heart O Texas Speedway

It was hot and dry at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, Friday night! Six classes of cars competed along with the Southern Texas Late Model Series (STLMS). Modified Feature Winner: Heart O Texas Speedway has some of the best Modified racers in the country! Friday night's racing was no exception. Several drivers battled for the lead, but with less than five laps to go, in the 20-lap A-main, it was a two man race between Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, and Kevin Green, No. 5. "E.T." Eric Tomlinson managed to squeeze by Green on the last lap, to take the exciting feature win! William Gould, No. 60, actually lead the race early on, but spun out in turn 4 ten laps into the feature. William went to the rear of the field, but managed to race his way back to the third spot. Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, ended up fourth and William McGuire, No. 9, was fifth. D. Goode Sr., B. Hood, J. Frydrych, C. Clark, and C. Daniel, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

Hard Charger goes to William Gould.

Late Model Feature Winner: Missouri's Jim Moon, No. 1, was a rocket and took home the feature event. Local Robert Scrivner, No. 1x, had a good run for second, Austin Theiss, No. 7d, was third, G.W. Egbert IV, No. 717, was fourth and J.P. Dowell, No. 715, was fifth. K.C. Fielding, S. Hogg, G. Egbert, C. Armstrong III, and S. O'Neal, rounded out the top ten. Thirteen cars started the feature.

It was Demolition Derby Night at Kennedale Speedway Park. A large crowd was on hand to watch the always exciting Demo Derby plus six classes of cars that included the IMCA Modifieds, Sprints, SportMods, Stock Cars, Factory Stocks and Jr. Mini Stocks! Next week Kennedale Speedway Park will feature another full racing program plus the Kids Box Car Races!

Matt Martins Modified settled for a top five finish.

Modified Feature Winner: In one of the most exciting races of the evening, Matt Martin, No. 11, and Matt Guillaume, No. 50, battled it out for the lead in the 20-lap A-main. With two laps to go, Matt Guillaume managed to get past Matt Martin for the exciting Modified feature win. Jay Bransom, No. 29, ended up second, Chad Melton, No. 71, was third, Matt Martin, No. 11, settled for fourth and Justin McCoy, No. 87, was fifth. C. Allen, R. McKinney, D. Pike, M. McMillin, and J. Robinson, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, seem to have this race well in hand, but with two laps to go, Kyle  Jones, No. 04, made it interesting! Kyle slid past Marcus for the lead, but Marcus cut back under Kyle to regain the lead and the feature win. Colby Estes, No. 71, was third, George White, No. 10, was fourth, Logan Scherb, No. 18, was fifth, N. Littlejohn, C. Scherb, P. Williams, and B. Bryant rounded out the field. Nine cars started the feature.

Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, held their Annual Demolition Derby Friday night! Along with the Demo Derby, there were five classes of cars, featuring the IMCA Modifieds, SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Factory Stocks. A great crowd was on hand and they were ready for some exciting racing topped off with an action packed Demo Derby! 

Modified Feature Winner: They were three wide coming out of turn 2 a few laps into the 20-lap IMCA Modified feature. CAM Chassis Chase Allen, No. 930, managed to squeeze between Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, and the back wall to take the lead and the Modified feature win! Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, ended up second, last weeks feature winner Kevin Green, No. 5, was third, William Gould, No. 60, was fourth and David Goode Jr., No. 11, was fifth. J. Henderson, C. Daniel, C. Guest, C. Clark, J. Frydrych, B. Hood, and J. Radcliff, rounded out the field. Twelve cars started the feature.

Eric Tomlinson had a solid run for second.

Kevin Greens impressive IMCA Modified finished third.

SportMod Feature Winner: T.J. Green, No. 5, picked up another feature win. Ronnie Bell Jr., No. 95, was second, Gregory Muirhead, No. 22, was third, Brandon Guerin, No. 12, was fourth and James Hanusch, No. 777, was fifth. T. Florio, J. Guyton, J. Shepperd, C. Brunson, and N. Buchanan, rounded out the top ten. Fifteen cars started the feature. This was T.J.'s fifth feature win of the season!

Mother Nature was the winner at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night

Kennedale Speedway Park tried really hard to get the races up and running Saturday night. But after several heat races, it started to rain and track officials were forced to cancel the show. Next Saturday, July 15, Kennedale  Speedway Park will feature a full race program, plus the exciting Demolition Derby. Make plans to attend this exciting event. Kevin Green held off Chase Allen for the Modified win at Heart O Texas Speedway

Kevin Green was the Modified feature winner.

Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm Mott)
July 7 (Friday)

It was half price night at Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, to all the race fans that wore HOT merchandise. Race fans got their moneys worth with six classes of cars, including the Modifieds, SportMods, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Jr. Mini Stocks! Next Friday, July 14, will be the exciting Annual Demolition Derby! You don't want to miss this show!

Modified Feature Winner: A good run by Cody "Supraman" Daniel, No. 76s, and Kevin Green, No. 5. Kevin managed to power his way past Cody to take the early lead in the 20-lap, A main. Kevin then managed to hold off a challenge by CAM Chassis Chase Allen, No. 930. Chase ended up second, Raymond McSpadden, No. 48r, was third, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fourth and William Gould, No. 60, was fifth. D. Goode, B. Hood, D. Grantham, R. Scrivner, and K. Old, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: The girls showed the boys the fast way around the track! Kamera McDonald, No. 62k, got her first SportMod feature win at HOT! Coming in a close second, was Taylor Florio, No. 21t, James Guyton, No. 68, was third, Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was fourth and T.J. Green, No. 5, was fifth. J. Shepperd, C. Cogburn, B. Geurin, E. Lattrell, and C. Brunson, rounded out the top ten. Sixteen cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: A good race between G.W. Egbert, No. 717, and current points leader, Benji Kirkpatrick, No. 4725. G.W. held on for the feature win. Kenny Merritt, No. v18, was third, Robert Black, No. 07, was fourth and Damon Hammond, No. 116, was fifth. W. White, George Egbert, S. Sovey, Jerrett Bransom, and J. Bruce, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Hobby Stock Feature Winner: Current points leader Shannon Dulock, No. 47, does it again. Shannon made it look easy for the feature win. Stacey Robinette, No. 43, was second, Joe "Dirt" Williams, No. 32, was third, Nathan Sodek, No. 60, was fourth and Kevin Smith, No. 57, was fifth. J. Hendrix, J. Kornegay, H. Wade, C. Rawls, and R. Sodek, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Nice to see Greg Andrews, No. 12, back in the winners circle. Current points leader Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, settled for second, Brandon Hood, No. 1b, was third, Ricky Sessions, No. 7, was fourth and Kenny Bruce Jr., No. 14, was fifth. M. Guenat, J. Pittman, B. Gaston, D. Choate, and B. Simcik, rounded out the top ten. Twelve cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Austin Moore, No. 88, drove a great race, but on the last lap, his engine blew, opening the door for Bradley Warren, No. 34w, to pick up another feature win. Jesse Shepperd, No. 17, was second, Austin Moore, No. 88, ended up third, and Trevor Cogburn, No. 601, was fourth.
