The racers saved their best for the last night at Kennedale Speedway Parks Annual Spring Kickoff. If the racing Sunday night was any indication of the racing this season at KSP, the race fans are in for a treat.
In the IMCA Modified feature, it was a great race between two veteran racers, Dean Abbey, No. 26, and William Gould, No. 60. Dean Abbey managed to battled his way to the front and take the $500 to win Modified feature. Abilene's Josh McGaha, No. 911, ended up second, William Gould, No. 60, settled for third, Matt Martin, No. 11, was fourth and Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fifth. M. Guillaume, R. Daniels, J. Littlejohn, C. Melton, and R. Scrivner, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: It was a door banger between Jake UpChurch, No. 24, and Westin Abbey, No. 12. Jake managed to hold off Westin at the finish line for the exciting win. James Skinner, No. 17s, was third, Greg Frazer, No. 166x, was fourth and Allen Montgomery, No. 38, was fifth. J. Nabors, J. Habusch, J. Freeman, T. Cook, and K. Rupp, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Good battle between "Wild Child" Damon Hammond, No. 116, and Jay Bransom, No. 29. Damon came out on top. Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was third, Kirk Martin, No. 69, was fourth and Westin Abbey, No. 12, was fifth. G. Gutt, J. Bruce, L. Blackwood, R. Shipman, and Jerrett Bransom, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Another great finish in the Factory Stock feature with Jamey Lough, No. 39, taking the exciting win. Walter Hamilton, No. 75w, had a good run but ended up second, Damon Hammond, No. 116, settled for third, Duane Wolff, No. 10, was fourth and Casey Lyles, No. 27, was fifth. A.J. Gardner, T. Murray, R. Welborn, J. Capps, and J. Herring, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.

600 A-class Feature Winner: Aaron Dromgoole, No. p40, pushed it to the limit and managed to hold off Joey Starnes, No. 5b, at the checkered for the exciting feature win. Chase Brewer, No. 3c, was third, Chase Randall, No. 9, was fourth and Chad Wilson, No. 20, was fifth. W. Gorham, M. Thomas, C. Wood, T. Goad, and S. Smith, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-cars started the feature.
No. 4b took a tumble during his heat race.
