85 Speedway, in Ennis, TX, held their Annual IMCA Black & Gold Showdown Friday night. This was the second of three nights of racing. Thursday night was practice and this Saturday night will be the finale night of racing for the season. Seven classes of cars were on the schedule last night. In the IMCA Modified feature, Oklahoma's William Gould, No. 60, powered past Abilene's Josh McGaha, No. 911, to take the $1,000 feature win. Kevin Sustaire, No. 871k, was third, Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fourth and Dillion Pike, No. 6*, was fifth. Twenty-one cars started the feature.

Sprint Feature Winner: Chad Wilson, No. 20, was the feature winner leading every lap. Justin Fifield, No. 49, was second, Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, was third, Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, was fourth and Austin Mundie, No. 4, was fifth. Twenty-cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Cody Smith, No. 31s, sailed to the $800 feature winner. Rodney White, No. 84, was second, Tim Clonch, No. 18, was third, Kevin Roland, No. 4r, was fourth and Walter Hamilton, No. 1w, was fifth. Nineteen cars started the feature.
Justin Nabors and his impressive IMCA SportMod got sixth.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: Chris Davis, No. 98, had a strong run. But with less than five laps to go, Josh Landers, No. 14x, got past Chris for the $800 win. Matt Doescher, No. 58, was third, Mike Marusak, No. 45, was fourth and Bryce Pritchett, No. 010, was fifth. Twenty-cars started the feature.
Davis Racing had a strong run, but settled for second.

600 A-class Feature Winner: Chase Brewer, No. 3c, and No. 15x, had a good battle, with Brewer taking the $500 win. No. 1, was third, Colby Estes, No. 71, was fourth and Colby Stubblefield, No. 2, was fifth. Eighteen cars started the feature.

Cruiser Feature Winner: Tanner Baugus, No. 02b, was the feature winner. Mike Malone, No. 44, was second, and Rita Wood, No. 25r, was third.
