It was a beautiful evening at Kennedale Speedway Park for their 10th Annual Showdown. A large crowd and car count were in attendance. Winners were crowned in six classes of cars. The race fans also enjoyed the always exciting trailer race. In the 25-lap, $1,500 to win IMCA Sprint feature, Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, held off a hard charging, Andy Shouse, No. 27, for the exciting win. Tyler Russell, No. 8kk, was third, Jake Martens, No. 48, was fourth and Michael Day, No. 4d4, was fifth. Richards, White, Debrick, Emerson, and L. Scherb, rounded out the top ten. Chad Wilson, No. 20, had a solid run, but damaged his car with a few laps to go. Twenty-three cars started the feature. Thanks to Rafter P Construction inc. for adding money to the Sprint feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Jeff Emerson, No. 35, had a solid run, but broke halfway through the 25-lap, $1,500 to win feature. That opened the door for a hard charging Josh McGaha, No. 911. Josh held off the field for the impressive win. Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was second, John Gober, No. 52, was third, Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was fourth and Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fifth. Rutherford, Pike, Shoemaker, Bransom, and McMillin, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Jacob Pirkle, No. 141, lead every lap of the 25-lap, $1,500 to win feature. J.C. Howell, No. 103, had a strong run, but settled for second, Cory Williams, No. 511, was third, Jeff Shepperd. No. 17, was fourth, and Matt Doescher, No. 3, was fifth. Manka, Honeywell, Rawls, Nabors, and J. Abbey, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Joey Stephens and Randall Zilka were in a bad wreck.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Westin Abbey, No. 12, was the $1,500 feature winner. Kirk Martin, No. 69, was a solid second, J.C. Howell, No. 103, had a good run, but ended up third, Craig Moss, No. 25, was fourth and Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fifth. Blackwood, Taylor, Crenshaw, Campbell, and J. Abbey, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: A good race between Jeff Hauser, No. 18, and Mike Shackleford, No. 09. Jeff ended up the $1,000 feature winner. A.J. Gardner, No. 121, was third, Duane Wolff, No. 10, was fourth and Willie Tryon, No. 21t, was fifth. Myers, Cook, Herring, Barton, and Bruce, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Feature Winner: Patrick Bailey, No. 5x, had a good run, but dropped off with engine problems. Jordon Hefler, No. 2j, was the winner. Jerrett Bransom, No. 29, had a good run for second, Blake Clark, No. 88, was third, Ranger Shipman, No. 57r, was fourth and Jarrett Hefler, No. 88j, was fifth. Nine cars started the feature.
