Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore) October 29 (Saturday)
Cade Dillard, No. 97, was the winner of the 1st Annual Texas Outlaw Modified Series Nationals at Southern Oklahoma Speedway Saturday night. The weather was perfect and a great car count and crowd was on hand to enjoy this exciting event. In the TOMS Modified feature, Cade Dillard, No. 97, powered past Thomas Tollison, No. 85, a couple of laps into the 3-wide, 30-lap, feature to take the lead. Dillard never looked back to take the $4,000 feature win. Coming in second, was Happy, Texas, Rodney Sanders, No. 20, The 2016 TOMS Champion, Triston Dycus, No. 14t, was third, Thomas Tollison, No. 85, settled for fourth, and Colby Smith, No. 01, was fifth. Dunn Jr., Veal, Dixon, Lassiter, and D. Abbey, rounded out the top ten. Thirty-cars started the feature.
Thomas Tollison got it together for a top five finish.
Colby Smith picked up a fifth place finish.

SportMod Feature Winner: Gabe Tucker, No. 95, took home the $3,000 first place prize in the 3-wide, 30-lap feature. Gabe lead every lap of the exciting race. Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was second, Cody Smith, No. 31s, was third, Tracy Denby, No. 15j, was fourth, and Rodney Sanders, No. 25d, was fifth. Whitehead, B. Day, Hartline, Baird, and Hamilton, rounded out the top ten. Thirty-cars started the feature.

It was qualifying night at Southern Oklahoma Speedway, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, 1st Annual Texas Outlaw Modified Series Nationals. Fifty-two Outlaw Modifieds battled it out Friday night for the top 12 positions in Saturday nights $4,000 to win TOMS Modified feature. Racing continues Saturday with last chance qualifiers and finale features. Gates open at 5 p.m. and races start at 7 p.m.

Southern Oklahoma Speedway, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is hosting the 1st Annual Texas Outlaw Modified Series Nationals, Thursday-Saturday, October 27-29. Triston Dycus, No. 14t, the 2016 TOMS Champion, is one of forty TOMS Modifieds that have preregistered so far. The winner of the 30-car, 30-lap, three-wide feature Saturday, will take home $4,000! Also on the program, is the exciting SportMods. The winner of the SportMod feature Saturday, will take home $3,000! Thursday night will consist of practice. Friday night is qualifying races with the top twelve cars being locked into Saturday nights A-main finale features! Friday gates open at 5 p.m. Racing starts at 8 p.m. SOS will also be hosting Trick or Treat for the kids both nights, plus a kids costume contest. Heart O Texas Speedway (Elm Mott) October 22 (Saturday)
Heart O Texas Speedway, in Elm Mott, TX, held their Annual Fall Classic. A good size crowd and a large car count were on hand Saturday for the finale night of racing for the 2016 season. Nine classes of cars competed in the Annual Fall Classic for cash, trophies, and bragging rights. In the IMCA Modified feature, Dean Abbey, No. 26, got the $1,500 win. Robert Scrivner, No. 53, had a strong showing for second, Hardy Henderson, No. 63, was third, Jake Henderson, No. 1x, was fourth and Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, was fifth. Jupe, Frydrych, McSpadden, Goode Jr., and Tomlinson, rounded out your top ten. Chase Allen, No. 9, and Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, had a good run, but both were caught up in a wreck half way through the feature. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Hardy Henderson had a solid top five finish.

Southern Texas Late Model Series (STLMS) Feature Winner: Jim Moon, No. 1, picked up his first feature win at HOT. Jay Sale, No. 4, was second, Austin Theiss, No. 7d, was third, Brandon Brzozowski, No. 104, was fourth and Skip O'Neil, No. 17b, was fifth. Harmon, Egbert, Manchester, Hog, and Hardage, rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: 2016 SportMod Champion T.J. Green, No. 5, lead every lap for the $1,000 win. 85 Speedway, in Ennis, TX, held their Annual IMCA Black & Gold Showdown Friday night. This was the second of three nights of racing. Thursday night was practice and this Saturday night will be the finale night of racing for the season. Seven classes of cars were on the schedule last night. In the IMCA Modified feature, Oklahoma's William Gould, No. 60, powered past Abilene's Josh McGaha, No. 911, to take the $1,000 feature win. Kevin Sustaire, No. 871k, was third, Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fourth and Dillion Pike, No. 6*, was fifth. Twenty-one cars started the feature.

Devils Bowl Speedway (Mesquite) October 14 (Friday)
It was qualifying night for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV Motorsports Network at the Devils Bowl Speedway's 43rd Annual Winter Nationals. The Devils Bowl Speedway racing family is honoring former owner/promoter Lanny Edwards who passed away recently. They are asking race fans to wear red Saturday night in honor of him. Friday nights program featured four classes of cars. In the ASCS qualifying feature, a good field of forty-seven Sprints, attempted to lock in the top four positions for Saturday nights $3,000 to win finale. Johnny Herrera, No. 45x, who currently is in second place in the ASCS National point standing, managed to hold off the field, even with a serious engine problem, to take the top qualifying spot. Johnny said, "the only way I'm pulling off is if she blows up." Aaron Reutzel, No. 87, was second, John Carney, No. 11x, was third, Sammy Swindell, No. 3s, was fourth. Those are your top four qualifiers that are locked into Saturday's finale. Covington, Hahn, Jennings, Rilat, Johnson, and Lawrence, rounded out the top ten positions. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Aaron Reutzel had a solid second place finish.
John Carney picked up a third place finish.
Current points leader Sam Hafertepe Jr. finished eleventh.
Martin Edwards, APCO No. 13, honored his grandfather.

Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore) October 8 (Saturday)
Southern Oklahoma Speedway, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, held their 12th Annual Jordan Page Memorial Nationals. It was a cool Fall evening, but a good crowd was on hand to enjoy some exciting racing. Five classes of cars competed for cash and trophies. The featured class was the Modifieds and they didn't disappoint. Oklahoma's William Gould, No. 60, got the gold in the 30-lap, $2,000, to win, Modified feature. Chad Howell, No. 49, had a solid run, but with twelve laps to go a caution came out. On the restart, several cars battled for the lead. William Gould, No. 60, managed to take the point. With a couple of laps to go, William had to hold off a hard charging Wesley Veal, No. 11x, for the win. Mike Dillard, No. 66x, ended up second, Wesley Veal, No. 11x, settled for third, Chad Howell, No. 49, took the fourth spot, and C.A. Nix, No. 34n, rounded out the top five. Guillaume, Tillison, Lassiter, Wheeler, and O'Neil rounded up the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Limited Modified Feature Winner: Leading every lap, Shane Hartline, No. 31, held off Bo Day, No. 4, for the $1,500 to win, 25-lap, feature. It was a beautiful evening at Kennedale Speedway Park for their 10th Annual Showdown. A large crowd and car count were in attendance. Winners were crowned in six classes of cars. The race fans also enjoyed the always exciting trailer race. In the 25-lap, $1,500 to win IMCA Sprint feature, Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, held off a hard charging, Andy Shouse, No. 27, for the exciting win. Tyler Russell, No. 8kk, was third, Jake Martens, No. 48, was fourth and Michael Day, No. 4d4, was fifth. Richards, White, Debrick, Emerson, and L. Scherb, rounded out the top ten. Chad Wilson, No. 20, had a solid run, but damaged his car with a few laps to go. Twenty-three cars started the feature. Thanks to Rafter P Construction inc. for adding money to the Sprint feature.

Modified Feature Winner: Jeff Emerson, No. 35, had a solid run, but broke halfway through the 25-lap, $1,500 to win feature. That opened the door for a hard charging Josh McGaha, No. 911. Josh held off the field for the impressive win. Matt Guillaume, No. 50, was second, John Gober, No. 52, was third, Marvin Skinner, No. 27s, was fourth and Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fifth. Rutherford, Pike, Shoemaker, Bransom, and McMillin, rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-four cars started the feature.
