Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale)

There was a full moon over Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. That made for a wild and crazy night of racing. In the RaceSaver Sprint feature, Michelle Melton, No. 21, showed the boys the fast way around the 1/4-mile, semi-banked, dirt track. Michelle took to the front and held off a strong field of racers to take the exciting A-main. Weston Gorham, No. 71w, was second, Zane Lawrence, No. 76, was third, Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, was fourth and Chad Wilson, No. 20, was fifth. N. Littlejohn, C. Estes, Williams, Floyd, and S. Scherb, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature. Several cars were involved in a bad wreck during the feature. To view a video of the Sprint wreck, click below:

Modified Feature Winner: Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, was the feature winner. Tommy Williams Jr., No. 151, was second, John Gober, No. 52, was third, Justin McCoy, No. 87, was fourth and Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fifth. Hood, Sartain, Guillaume, Campbell, and McSpadden, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three cars started the feature.

SportMod Feature Winner: Robert Scrivner, No. 53, picked up another feature win. Dean Abbey, No. 17, was second, Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was third, Jacob Pickle, No. 141, was fourth and Jeremy Carter, No. 25c, was fifth. McCreery, Fritchen, Young, Freeman, and Grindstaff, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Stock Car Feature Winner: Tyler Muirhead, No. 22t, was the feature winner. Justin McCullough, No. 47, was second, Damon Hammond, No. 116, was third, Kirk Martin, No. 69, was fourth and John Riddle, No. 35, was fifth. Obregon, Taylor, Bransom, Orebaugh, and Powers, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-eight cars started the feature.

Factory Stock Feature Winner: A tough race between Duane Wolff, No. 10, and Jeff Kinnaird, No. 07. Duane prevailed. Jeff settled for second. Michael Shackleford, No. 09, was third, Tom Earl Jr., No. 47, was fourth and Tim Murray, No. 20, was fifth. Smith, Smitherman, Kahanek III, C. Neil, last week's winner, had a good run, but spun out with a few laps to go, and C. Cook, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Feature Winner: Jordan Helfer, No. 2j, was the feature winner. Blake Clark, No. 88, was second, Ranger Shipman, No. 57r, was third, Casey Merrell, No. 41, was fourth and Patrick Bailey, No. 5x, was fifth. Bransom, J. Helfer, and D. Shipman rounded out the field.

A-class 600 Sprint Feature Winner: Marcus Thomas, No. 15t , was the run-a-way winner. Weston Gotham, No. 71w, was second, Kyle Jones, No. 04, was third, Brandon Anderson, No. 55b, was fourth and Casey Carter, No. 33c, was fifth. C. Stubblefield, Anderson, Wood, Lough, and J. Estes, rounded out the field. Fourteen cars the feature.
