Race fans waited out the storm under the bleachers.

Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale) August 29 (Saturday)
It was shaping up to be another great night of racing at Kennedale Speedway Park. Then out of no where, a thunderstorm passed through with rain and strong lightning. After a thirty minute delay, the races were called. KSP's staff did a good job of moving the program along, hoping to get in as many races as they could, before the rain came. They were able to get in all the heat races, except the Wing Modifieds.
KSP will be closed next Saturday, September 5, but will return with a full race program Saturday, September, 12.
