Twenty Sprints battled it out for the $3,000 to win Southern Trailer Works ASCS Gulf South Region presented by Griffith Truck and Equipment A-main event at Heart O Texas Speedway Friday night. When the dust had settled, Channin Tankersley, No. 14, picked up his first Gulf South win of the 2015 season. Jacob Lucas, No. 57, had a good run, but a lap car caused him to check up, opening the door for Channin with less than ten laps to go in the 25-lap feature. Local Kevin Ramey, No. 1a, ended up second, Jacob settled for third, Palm Harbor Homes Michael Lang, No. 14l, was fourth and Ray Kulhanek, No. 21t, was fifth. Shouse, McNeil, Hawks, Lawrence and Moore, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-three Sprints were in the pits.

IMCA Modified Winner: Dwayne Grantham, No. 27g, also got that first win of the 2015 season. Jason Batt, No. 19, gave Dwayne all he could handle for several laps, but Jason ended up sixth on a slippery track. Keith White, No. 1, was second, Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was third, William McGuire, No. 9, was fourth, and Brandon Hood, No. 1b, took that 3-bar chassis to a fifth place finish. Batt, Browning, Sheets, Green, and McSpadden, rounded out the top ten. Eighteen cars started the feature.

IMCA SportMod Winner: Robert Scrivner, No 53, sailed around last weeks winner G.W. Egbert, No. 717, for the win. Sid Kiphen, No. 58, was third, Chris Cogburn, No. 601, was fourth and T.J. Green, No. 5, was fifth. McCall, Sheppard, Rawls, Simcik, and Bennett, rounded out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: Zachary Riley, No. 110, was the feature winner. Dennis Bissonnette, No. 07d, had a good run for second, Anthony Otken, No. 489, was third, Eric Jones, No. 84x, was fourth and Peter Delevan, no. 98, was fifth. O'Bryan, Hammomd, Hood, McCullough, and Batt, rounded out the top ten.

Street Stock Winner: Gary Norman, No. 3, made it two wins in-a-row. Drew Garcia, No. 9g, was second, Tommy Kirkpatrick, No. 4, was third, Wade White, No. 68, was fourth and James Cochran II, was fifth. Ten cars started the feature.

IMCA Hobby Stock Winner: Jeremy Oliver's on a roll. Another win for the No. 82. Andy Roller, No. 63, was second, Stephanie Henderson, No. 528, was third, Wesley Warren, No. 75, was fourth and Joe Williams, No. 32, was fifth. Twelve cars started the feature,
Factory Stock Winner: Michael Guenat, No. 25, got his first win of the season. Rick Morosky, No. 88, was second, Ryan Hopkins, No. 4, was third, Justin Bruce, No. 00, was fourth and Thomas Bailey, No. 17b, was fifth. Thirteen cars started the feature.

Jr. Mini Stock Winner: Bradly Warren, No. 34w, was the winner. Colton, No. 08, was second, Jake Copeland, No. 9, was third, Casey Brunson, No. 10, was fourth and Raymond Allen Morgan, No. 6, was fifth.
A good crowd was on hand to watch the races.
