It looked like veteran Troy Taylor, No. 56, was going to get his first Day Motorsports, CAM Chassis Texas Outlaw Modified Series (TOMS) feature win of the season Friday night at Mountain Creek Speedway. But half way through the A-main, leader Troy Taylor got tangled up with lap traffic, that also took out the second and third place cars, Cody Smith, No. 18s, and Triston Dycus, No.14t. That put Charlie Smith, No. 3c, on the pole. It took Bobby Malcus, No. 4m, a couple of laps, but he was able to power his way around Smith to take the lead and go on to take the $1,500 win. "Little Freaky" Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, was third, Josh Landers, No. 14x, was fourth and Wesley Veal, No. 11x, was fifth. Hucheba, Taylor, McCoy, Theiss, and Dycus, round out the top ten. Eighteen Modifieds started the feature.
