Beautiful weather greeted another large crowd at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. With the warmer weather, that means it's racing season. Over one hundred and seventy race cars filled the pits. Race fans were treated to some exciting races including the IMCA Modified feature in which Dean Abbey, No. 26, managed to hold on to take the hard fought Modified feature win. KSP's next scheduled race is Saturday, April 4.
IMCA Modified Winner: Dean Abbey, No. 26, held on to take the exciting IMCA Modified feature. John Gober, No. 52, ended up second, Matt Guillaume, No. 50, had a strong run to finish third, Kevin Sustaire, No. 71k, was fourth and Dillion Pike, No. 6*, was fifth. Green, Melton, Martin, McMillin, and Lawler round out the top ten. Twenty-four Modifieds started the feature.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: George White, No. 10, looked to be the Sprint to beat, but half way through the race his car broke opening the door for Marcus Thomas, No. 15t, to take the win. Marcus was second last Friday night at RPM Speedway. Kyle Jones, No. 04, was second, Jerry Hammock, No. 4, was third, Jeff Sessums, No. 01j, was fourth and Chad Wilson Motorsports, No. 20, who started on the back after a spin out, ended up fifth. Brewer, Howell, Hawkins, Woods, and Elwood round out the top ten. A full field of twenty-five Sprints started the feature.

IMCA SportMod Winner: Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was the impressive winner. This young man is on the move. Paul Scrivner, No. 14, was second, T.J. Green, No. 5, had another good run at KSP to take third, Gary Fox, No. 12w, was fourth and Duain Pritchett, No. 22, was fifth. Grindstaff, UpChurch, Newhard, Skinner, and Gilbert round out the top ten. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Gene Yates was involved in a pileup during the feature.
IMCA Stock Car Winner: Matt Guillaume, No. 50, had another strong run in the IStocks taking the feature win. Kirk Martin, No. 69, settled for second, K.C. Fielding, No. 1x, was third, Jeff Turner, No. 44, was fourth and Dennis Bissonette, No. 07d, was fifth. Hodges, Pritchett, Bransom, Bissonette, and Harcrow round out the top ten. Twenty-seven cars started the feature.
Factory Stock Winner: Chase Neil, No. 410, was the feature winner. Jeffery Kinnard, No. 07, was second, No. 21b, was third, Mike Shackleford, No. 09, was fourth and Chance Hull, No. 2, was fifth. Twenty-four cars started the feature.
Factory Stock Makeup Winner: Brett McMillin, No. 61, was the makeup winner. Tim Murray, No. 20, was second, Chase Neil, No. 410, was third, Jeffery Kinnaird, No. 07, was fourth and Tyler Smith, No. 24, was fifth. Sixteen cars started the feature.
Jr. Mini Stock Winner: Blake Clark, No. 88, was the winner. Ryan Zilka, No. 5k, was second, Cameron Cook, No. 04, was third, Casey Merrill, No. 41, was fourth and Katelyn Foster, No. 72k, was fifth.
Mod Lite Winner: No. 51, was the winner. No. 1, was second, No. 54, was third, No. 5j, was fourth and Danny Rogers, No. 4j, was fifth.
