Abilene Speedway was the host for the Annual Ice Breaker.

It was the first of three nights of racing at Abilene Speedway's Annual Ice Breaker. Over one hundred and sixty race cars competed in six classes. The weather was great and a good crowd was on hand to get Abilene Speedway's 2015 racing season underway. Racing continues Saturday with the racing action starting at 7 p.m. and the Ice Breaker finale at 2 p.m. Sunday.
IMCA Modified Winner: Dean Abbey, No. 26, started on the front and lead every lap to take the 20-lap feature win. Caleb Stone, No. 6c, was second, Tyler Iverson, No. 98, was third, Jared Hoefelman, No. 15, had a great run, from eleventh to fourth, and Oklahoma's B & B Chassis William Gould, No. 60, was fifth. Mark Patterson, No. 137, Justin Cass, No. 56, Chris Elliott, No. 9, Cole Ferguson, No. 3, and John Gober, No. 152, round out the top ten. Twenty cars started the feature.
Tyler Iverson from Albion, NE, had a strong run.

IMCA SportMod Winner: A good race between Gabe Tucker, No. 95, and Chad Hertel, No. 59. Chad lead for many laps before Gabe was able to get by him and take the win. Jeffrey Abbey, No. 37, was third, Justin Shaw, No. 55, was fourth and J.C. Howell, No. 103, was fifth. Matt Mueller, No. 38, Dustin Robinson, No. 10, Shane Priddy, No. 766, Justin Long, No. 42, and Bradley Poor, No. 48, round out the top ten. Twenty Cars started the twenty-lap feature.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: Forty-seven IStocks battled it out for the twenty-one starting positions. It looked like Dennis Bissonnette, No. 07, seemed to be in control, but Matt Guillaume, No. 501, got by him with a few laps to go for the win. Mike Easterwood, No. 80, was third, Jason Batt, No. 19, was fourth and Jason Adcock, No. 156, was fifth. Kirk Martin, No. 69, Cary White, No. 64, Michael Tennison, No. 64, David Phillips, No. 18, and Jody York, No. 00, round out the top ten. Twenty-one cars started the twenty-lap feature.

Andy Roller had a solid run to finish in the top five.
IMCA Hobby Stock Winner: Jeremy Oliver, No. 82, took the win. Adam Armstrong, No. 16, was second, Gerald W. Spalding Jr., No. 5, was third, Andy Roller, No. 63, was fourth and Rodney Sparks, No. 0, was fifth. Eighteen cars started the feature.
John Rister had a strong run to finish second.
Street Stock Winner: Erreck Rogers, No. 123, was your Street Stock winner. John Rister, No. 771, was second, William McNeely, No. 83, was third, Brandon Gaddis, No. 38, was fourth, and Brandon Hertel, No. 591, was fifth. Fifteen cars started the feature.
Jr. Mini Winner: Richard Gregory, No. 72, was the feature winner.

Red River Speedway got their 2015 season under way.

Red River Speedway (Iowa Park) February 13 (Friday)
Red River Speedway kicked off it's 2015 racing season Friday night with the IMCA Invasion. This was the first time that the IMCA race cars had competed at Red River Speedway. National points are on the line and champions will be crowned Saturday in each of the five classes. The weather looks great for Saturday's finale with racing action getting under way at 6 p.m.
Brendon Gemmill was the IMCA Modified feature winner.
IMCA Modified Winner: Brendon Gemmill, No. g3, took the early lead and ran away from the field to take the IMCA Modified feature. Abilene Radiator's own Tommy Fain, No. 90, had a strong run to finish second, Dean Abbey, No. 26, was third, Clay Sellard, No. 85c, was fourth and Jason Schoenberger, No. 6x, was fifth. Mark Patterson, Jerremy Montgomery, Richard Walp, William Gould, Neal DeBord, Jack Baggerly, Kenneth Graves and Sam Cox rounded the field. Thirteen Modifieds started the feature.
Jason Schoenheger had a strong run in his impressive IMCA Modified.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: Chad Wilson Motorsports, No. 20, had to work for it, but he powered his way to the front to take the feature win. Logan Scherb, No. 1, was second, John Carney II, No. 74b, was third, Brandon Long, No. 02, was fourth and T.J. Michael, No. 18, was fifth. Brandon Williams, Marcus Thomas, Michelle Melton, Bryson Oeschger, and Cody Daniel rounded the out the top ten. Chip Graham, No. 5, hit the wall hard in turn 1, but was not injured. Thirteen Sprints started the feature.
Cody Whitworth got the dreaded hook during the feature.

IMCA SportMod Winner: It took several starts, but once the IMCA SportMod feature got going, it was a good one.With only a couple of laps to go in the feature, the first and second place cars took each other out, opening the door for Gabe Tucker, No. 95. Gabe held off the field to take the win. John Webb, No. 87, was second, Levy Galmor, No. 81, was third, Terry Baker, No. 74t, was fourth and Robert Crabtree was fifth. Justin Long, David Tanner, Jeff Autry, Damon Hammond, and Dustin Robinson rounded out the top ten. A full field of twenty-five cars started the feature.

IMCA Stock Car Winner: Kirk Martin, No. 69, was the close fought IMCA Stock Car winner. Jody York, No. 00, was second, Damon Hammond, No. 116, was third, Cary White, No. 64, was fourth and Dustin White, No. 12, was fifth. Duain Pritchett, Jason Purvis, Jason Batt, Ronnie Christopher and John Menetz rounded out the top ten. Fourteen cars started the feature.

Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, LA) February 7 (Saturday)
What better way to start the 2015 racing season at Boothill Speedway, than with the 9th Annual Dustin Duncan Memorial race. Dustin was a young man that lost his life in November, 2005. Dustin must have been looking down on his racing friends and family, because it could not have been a more beautiful day for racing. Close to ninety cars, in three classes, put on a great show for the fans in honor of the former racer.
Chase Delrio was the Modified winner.

Chris seemed to have the fastest car, but a broken drive shaft ended his night with only a few laps to go. Chase Delrio, No. 27, took the point and held off the remaining field to take the win. Dustin Hyde, No. 8t, was second, Caleb Shown, No. 49s, was third, Casey Findley, No. 17f, was fourth and Doug Byrns, No. 32b, was fifth. Donnie Powers, No. 6, Randy Paine, No. 75p, Chris Henigan, No. 16, Chris Lewis, No. 15l, Ben Kates, No. 23k, Bobby Malcus, No. 8m, Brad Barnes, No. 60, Tim Motley, No. 3m, B.J.
