Nicholas Littlejohn, No. 76, held off William Gould, No. 60, in the heat race at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. But in the feature, it was a different story. William Gould, No. 60, powered his way past Nicholas Littlejohn coming out of turn 2, to take the win. Justin Fowler, No. 48, was third, Tommy Williams, No. 151, was fourth and Demetrius Carter, No. 44, was fifth. AAron Benedict, No. 77a, Erik Miles, No. 65, Alex Anders, No. 70, Whitworth, No. 6, and Mitch McMillin, No. 61, round out top ten. Fifteen Modifieds started the feature.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: Jeb Sessums, No. 01j, picked up another Sprint win. Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, defeated Billy Bachmeyer Jr., No. 38, in a rough race Friday night at Heart O' Texas Speedway. Several of the top IMCA Modified drivers dropped out of the race including Keith White, No. 1, Keith Green, No. 5, and William Gould, No. 60. Jerry Frydrych, No. 13, ended up third, Michael Thompson, No. 22, was fourth and Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, settled for fifth. Ray McSpadden, No. 80d, Donald Banker, No. 37b, Adrian Jez, No. A+, Aaron Benedict, No. 77a, and William Gould, No. 60, round out the top ten. A full field of twenty-three Modifieds started the feature.

Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale) August 16 (Saturday)
It was a big weekend for Chase Allen CAM Chassis IMCA Modified, No. 930. Friday night at Mountain Creek Speedway, Chase won the IMCA Modified feature and Saturday night he ended up winning the IMCA Modified feature at Kennedale Speedway Park. William Gould, No. 60, last weeks feature winner, took the lead in the Modified feature. Heading down the front straight-a-way, William hit Justin Sternberg's car, No. 49, that had just left the hot pit to replace a flat tire and had pulled back onto the track. It was a major wreck, but neither driver was injured. Sternberg's car appeared to be totaled. William was able to get his car repaired and took some test laps after the races. Chase Allen, who was gaining on William during the feature, took the point and ran off with the win. Tommy Williams, No. 151, Mitch McMillin, No. 61, Nicholas Littlejohn, No. 76, and Jerry Robinson, No. 30, round out the top five. Seventeen Mods started the feature.

But with a few laps to go, Pat McGuire, in the CAM Chassis No. 9, worked his way past Chad to take the feature win. Paul White, No. 1x, was third, Keith White, No. 1, was fourth and Billy Bachmeyer Jr., No. 38, was fifth. Nineteen cars started the feature.

ASCS Sprint Winner: Tommy Bryant, No. 28, beat the field by a large margin to take the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region vs. Smiley's Racing Products Lone Star Region $2,000 to win 25-lap feature Friday night. Settling for second, was Channin Tankersley, No. 11, Ray Allen Kulhanek, No. 21t, was third, Kevin Ramey, No. 7m, had a good run from the back to finish fourth and Klint Angelette, No. 19, settled for fifth. Patrick Stasa, No. 19x, Michelle Melton, No. 21, Eric Baldaccini, No. 0, Claud Estes, No. 74e and Brandon Berryman, No. 31, round out the top ten. Twenty Sprints started the feature. Twenty-seven ASCS Sprints were in the house. Sprint racing continues Saturday night at the historic 1/2-mile Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, TX.
