William Gould, No.60, picked up another IMCA Modified feature win at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Kevin Sustair, No. 71k, came in second, Jay Bransom, No. 29, was third, Steve Rutherford, No. 95, was fourth and John Gober, No. 52, rounded out the top five. There were over 160 race cars in the pits. Eighteen IMCA Modifieds started the feature.

RaceSaver Sprint Winner: It was great to see Jason Howell, No. 44, return to the winners circle. Chase Brewer, No. 99, was second, Justin Fifiel, No. 49, was third, Payton Pierce, No. 18p, was fourth and Colby Estes, No. 71, was fifth.

Johnny Scott's streak continues with third USMTS Modified feature win at RPM Speedway

It is beginning to sound like a broken record. Another race night, another USMTS Modified feature win for Johnny Scott. Rodney Sanders, gave him a little pressure with two laps to go, but it wasn't enough as Johnny picked up his third feature win in-a-row. This was the fourth of four nights for the Allgayer, Inc. USMTS Southern Region presented by Day Motorsports USMTS Modifieds Texas tour. Saturday night the USMTS series travels to Oklahoma to the Southern Oklahoma Speedway. There were a total of fifty-three Modifieds in the pits for the Town East Ford "Built Ford Tough 50" night. Locals Troy Taylor, Triston Dycus, Cody Smith and Bobby Malcus did not make the feature.

USMTS Modified Winner: Johnny "Super" Scott, No. 1st, from Arroyo Hondo, NM, struggled for a few laps trailing Jason Hughes, No. 12, and Stormy Scott, No. 2s. But after the first caution, he blew by the front runners to take the lead. Rodney Sanders, No. 20, looked like he might have something for Johnny, but he held him off to take the $2,000 feature win. Rodney Sanders, No. 20, ended up second, Jason Hughes, No. 12, was third, Steve Whiteaker Jr., No. 89, was fourth and Stormy Scott, No. 2s, was fourth. Clyde Dunn Jr., No.88xxx, who wrecked his car Thursday night at Kennedale Speedway Park, finished seventh and Chase Allen, No. 7, was eighth.

Street Stock Winner: This one will be talked about this week. Chris Davis, No. 98, muscled his way pass Tim Clonch, No. 25c, to take a close one in the Street Stock feature. Brian McHenry, No. 05, was third, Jeff Turner, No. 44, was fourth and Bubba Davis, No. 19, was fifth.

Limited Modified Winner: John O. Whitington, No. 5w, was the feature winner. Jimmy Day, No. 23m, was second, Jason Gore, No. 021, was third, T.J. Steele, No. 4s, was fourth and Robert Vetter, No. v8, was fifth.

Factory Stock Winner: Billy Meazell, No. 05x, was the feature winner. Anthony Boatman, No. 75, was second, Richard Miller, No. 70, was third, Frank Lackey, No. 41, was fourth and Joe Finelli, No. 4, was fifth.

Several drivers were available for autographs before the races.

It was great to see Clyde Dunn Jr. back in action after his accident at Kennedale Speedway Park.

It was round 3 of four nights for the Allgayer, Inc. USMTS Southern Region presented by Day Motorsports USMTS Modifieds Texas tour. Fifty Modifieds entered the pits at Kennedale Speedway Park Thursday night. Twenty-seven Modifieds started the 40-lap feature and a chance at the $2,000 prize money.

USMTS Modified Winner: Johnny "Super" Scott, No. 1st, from Arroyo Hondo, NM, made it back-to-back wins in the USMTS Modified feature events. Wednesday night at Heart O' Texas Speedway in Waco he was the feature winner also. The feature win at both tracks paid two thousand dollars, but with the "Big Dog Buy-In", a winning driver could double that. Johnny Scott has picked up $8,000 for two feature wins so far on the Texas tour. Chris Brown. No, 21, was second, Johnny's brother Stormy Scott, No. 2s, was third, Zack VanderBeek, No. 33z, was fourth and Kelly Shryock, No. 3, was fifth. Rodney Sanders, No. 20, was sixth and local favorite Troy Taylor, No. 56, placed seventh.

Clyde Dunn Jr. was involved in a wreck during the feature.

The fourth and final stop for the USMTS Texas tour will be at RPM Speedway Friday night.

Another night, another Scott in the winner's circle. Tuesday night, at the Devils Bowl Speedway, it was Stormy Scott taking the feature win. Wednesday night, at the Heart O' Texas Speedway, his brother Johnny Scott took the Allgayer, Inc. USMTS Southern Region presented by Day Motorsports $4,000 feature win. This was the second of four nights of racing in Texas. There were 44 Modifieds in the pits.

USMTS Modified Winner: Johnny Scott, No. 1st, from Arroyo Hondo, NM, started on the front row and lead every lap of the 40-lap, 25 car feature. Rodney Sanders, No. 20, had a strong run and settled for second place. Cody Smith, No. 18s, was third, the hard charger award goes to Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, who started dead last, finished fourth and Kelly Shryock, No. 3, was fifth.

Rodney Sanders had a strong run to finish second.

The USMTS Texas Tour continues Thursday at Kennedale Speedway Park.

Stormy Scott blows away the competition to take USMTS Mod feature at the Devils Bowl

The Allgayer, Inc. USMTS Southern Region presented by Day Motorsports made it first visit to the historic Devils Bowl Speedway Tuesday night. This was the first of four nights of racing in Texas. A large crowd was on hand and forty-seven Modifieds competed for the 25-lap, 26 car field, $2,000 to win feature.

USMTS Modified Winner: Las Cruces, NM, Stormy Scott, No. 2, ran away with the feature. Chris Brown, No. 21, was second, Jason Hughes, No. 12, was third, Johnny Scott, No. 1st, was fourth and Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88, was fifth. Locals Troy Taylor, No. 56, Bobby Malcus, No. 4m and Triston Dycus, No. 14, did not make the feature.

The USMTS Texas Tour continues Wednesday at Heart O' Texas Speedway in Waco.

It had been a while since Sam Cox, No. 3c, had been in the winner's circle. Saturday night at Kennedale Speedway Park, Sam worked his way to the front and held off current IMCA Modified points leader William Gould, No. 60, to take the IMCA Modified feature win. Matt Martin, No. 11, had a strong run to finish third. Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fourth and Matt Winnett, No. 999, was fifth. Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was sixth and last night's feature winner at Mountain Creek Speedway, Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was seventh.

They must have done a great job, because he was able to power his way around current IMCA Modified points leader William Gould, No. 60, to take the A-main. Ronnie Welborn, No. 20, was third, Craig Petty, No. 5p, was fourth and Destroyer Chassis Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was fifth.
