William Gould takes the gold in the IMCA Modified feature at Kennedale Speedway Park

Jay Bransom, No. 29, had one of his best showings of the season in the IMCA Modifieds at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Jay took the early lead and appeared to have this race well in hand. But with five laps to go, in the 20-lap feature, last week's feature winner Glen Hibbard, No. 127, and William Gould, No. 60, were knocking at the door. William Gould managed to make a strong move going into turn 2 to take the lead and go on to get the win at KSP. Jay Bransom, No. 29, had to settle for second, Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was third, Tommy Williams, No. 151, had another strong run, was fourth and veteran Mitch McMillin, No. 92d, was fifth.

RaceSaver Sprints Winner: In one of the closest finishes of the evening, last weeks feature winner John Ricketts, No. 5r, picked up his second RaceSaver Sprints feature win in-a-row. John defeated Dalton Stevens, No. 99x, on the last lap by a nose. Justin Fifield, No. 49, was third, Justin Melton, No. 11, was fourth and Ryan Hall, No. 79, was fifth.

Chad Wilson was involved in a wreck.

IMCA SportMods Winner: Jimmy Day, No. 23m, was the feature winner. Dean Abbey, No. 26, was second, James Skinner, No. 17s, was third, Jacob Pirkle, No. 411, was fourth and Cody Shoemaker, No. 54, who was involved in a bad wreck at Boyd Raceway Friday, was fifth.

Nicholas Littlejohn outlasts Doug Easterling to take the IMCA Modifieds feature at Boyd Raceway

The boys were back at the "Bull Ring" Boyd Raceway. Several tracks had been rained out last week, but he weather was beautiful Friday night and a nice crowd was on hand. In the IMCA Modifieds feature, Nicholas Littlejohn, No. 51, started on the pole and quickly jumped out to a good lead. The real battle was for second. Several cars were in the mix, but Doug Easterling, No. 88, made it interesting with two laps to go. Doug caught up with Nicholas, but lap traffic made it difficult for him to pass, and Littlejohn defeated Easterling by a half-a-car length. John Gober, No. 52, was third, Charlie Harmon II, No. 99, was fourth and Aaron Benedict, No. 77a, was fifth. Nineteen IMCA Modifieds started the 20-lap feature.

IMCA SportMods Winner: Gabe Tucker, No. 95, was the IMCA SportMods feature winner. Dean Abbey, No. 26, was second, No. 20, was third, Kevin Rutherford, No. 9x, was fourth and Jake UpChurch, No. 24, was fifth. Twenty-four IMCA SportMods started the 20-lap feature.

Glen Hibbard, No. 127, was the IMCA Modified feature winner at Kennedale Speedway Park Saturday night. Glen has been away from racing for a while, but he didn't seem to miss a beat as his IMCA Modified was really flying. Jeremy Willis, No. 010, took the early lead, but Glen was able to catch him and take the win. Matt Martin, No. 11, was second, hard charging William Gould, No. 60, was third, Jeremy Willis, No. 010, ended up fourth and Tommy Williams, No. 151, was fifth. Twenty-five cars started the 20-lap feature.

In the second IMCA Modified make up feature, William Gould, No. 60, ran away from the field to take the win. Tommy Williams, No. 151, was second, Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was third, Shea Thompson, No. 4t, was fourth and Jay Bransom, No. 29, was fifth.

Veteran Keith Green defeats Keith White in H.O.T. IMCA Modified feature

Heart O' Texas Speedway (Waco)
April 5 (Friday)

It was a battle of Champions at Heart O' Texas Speedway Friday night in Waco, Texas. Veteran Keith Green, No. 5, a multi champion started on the pole and quickly jumped out to the lead. Keith White, No. 1, last week's Modified feature winner and also a multi champion, started towards the back. On the first official lap, Keith White was involved in a wreck with two other cars in turn one and had to go to the rear of the field. Several cars brought out cautions during the race allowing Keith White to work his way towards the front. With three laps to go, Keith White moved up to second, but he was unable to catch Green and lost by half a car length at the finish line. Jarrod Jennings, No. 98j, was third, Ben Ketteman, No. 37, was fourth and Justin Radcliff, No. 11j, was fifth. There were sixteen IMCA Modifieds in the 20 lap feature.
