Cody Smith, No. 18s, fresh off a win a week ago at RPM Speedway, defeated Bobby Malcus, No. 4m, in a wild one at Cowtown Speedway Saturday night. Five Thousand dollars was up for grabs in the USRA Modified feature at Cowtown's 2nd Annual Halloween Spooktacular. Finishing third was Josh Landers, No. 14x, Gary Corbin, No. 02, was fourth and Chase Jupe, No. 303, was fifth.
Chris Brown, No. 21, started on the pole and ran away from the pack, until a flat tire sent him to the rear. Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, made a strong run on Brown, but spun out on the back straight-a-way. Sean Jones, No. 24, also had a strong run, but developed engine problems causing Justin McCoy, No. 87, to run into the rear of Sean's car. With five laps to go, Bobby Malcus started behind Cody Smith on the restart, but was unable to catch him.
Justin McCoy was involved in a hard wreck with Sean Jones.
