Thirteen IMCA Modifieds started the feature on Friday the 13th at Mountain Creek Speedway. There must have been a full moon also, because there were several wrecks, fights, and drivers taking each other out. After all the mayhem settled, six cars finished the race with William Gould holding on for the A-main win. Lee McCullough, No. 3m, was second, Darryl Campbell, No. 83, was third, Sax Cox, No. 3c, was fourth and Bobby Loveless, No. 28, was fifth.

Jason Howell, No. 44, was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Raven Culp, No. 3, was second, Dustin Woods, No. 05, was third, Gary Kelly, No. 12, was fourth and Kerry Rush, No. 88, was fifth.

Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx looked like he was going to win the USRA Modifieds feature at Cowtown Speedway Saturday night. But with three laps to go, the race cars were lined up due to a caution with Troy Taylor, No. 56, starting on the second row. It didn't take long before Troy took to the high side and passed Dunn coming out of turn 4 to take the lead and the win. Matt Martin, No. 11, Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t and Michael Needham, No. 8x rounded out the top five.

 In the RaceSaver Sprints feature, Dalton Steed, No. 26, had the car to beat in taking the win. Chad Wilson, No. 20x, over came a spin out to take second, Marvin Lough, No. 98, was third, Martin Edwards, No. 45, was fourth and Dalton Stevens, No. 99x, was fifth.

Mike Herring, No. 99, defeated Rodney "Hurricane" Henderson, No. 67, to take the Sprint Series of Texas feature at Mountain Creek Speedway Friday night. A nice crowd was on hand to watch thirty Sprints compete for the twenty starting positions in the A-Main. Coming on strong was Jerry Hammock, No. 01, for third, Jason Howell, No. 44, was fourth and Gerry Kelley, No. 12, was fifth.

A couple of Sprints got together during the heat races.

Dillon Pike, No. 6, was the IMCA Modifieds feature winner. Rusty Travathan, No. 51, was second, Rusty Travathan Sr., No. 751, was third, Blaine Shives, No. 0, was fourth and  Mike Mclaughlin, No. 715, was fifth. Sam Cox, No. 3, seventh.

It was billed as a fireworks and racing extravaganza at the Devils Bowl Tuesday night. It was every bit of that. A large crowd, a great fireworks show and some exciting racing. In the USA Modified feature, Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, managed to pass Rick McCommas, No. 39, on the final lap to take the feature win. Rick spun out going into turns 1 and 2. Dunn broke Danny Caldwell's undefeated USA Modifieds feature win streak. Danny, No. 81, had to settle for second, Richard McGibboney, No. 19, was third, Ronnie Sigman, No. 1s, was fourth and Troy Taylor, No. 56, was fifth.

Rick went into turn 1 a little hot and spun out on the last lap of the Modified feature.

In another close race, Jeff Day, No. 95, continued his winning ways by passing Chad Wilson, No. 20x, on the last lap to take the RaceSaver Sprints feature. No. 12, was third, Logan Payne, No. 2, was fourth and Martin Edwards, No. 45, was fifth.

The Devils Bowl Speedway will be hosting the ASCS Outlaw Sprints Lone Star Region this Saturday.

Bobby Ruffin, No. 02, was the USA Limited Modifieds feature winner. Pepper Rhea Kuykendall, No. 33, was second, Steve Nabors, No. 23, was third, Wally Beaty, No. 75, was fourth and Brian Bolden, No. 77, was fifth. Current Points leader Jimmy Staats, No. 39, took the lead on lap seven, but dropped out due to mechanical problems.

Troy Taylor, No. 56, got back into the win column Saturday night at Cowtown Speedway. Troy held off Clyde Dunn Jr., No. 88xxx, to take the USRA Modified feature. Justin McCoy, No. 87, who had a strong run, was third, Michael Needham, No. 8x, was fourth and Eric Tomlinson, No. 45t, was fifth.

Patrik Daniel, No. 75, was the Late Models feature winner. Max Eddie Thomas, No. 82, was second, Loni Richardson, No. 0, was third, Troy Tindall, No. 98, was fourth and Bryan Suggs, No. 18, was fifth.

Jeff Day, No. 95, was the RaceSaver Sprints feature winner. Chad Wilson, No. 20x, was second. Marvin Lowe, No. 98, was third (DQ), Logan Payne, No. 2, was fourth and D.J.Estes, No. 74, was fifth.
