Cowtown Speedway held their first Annual Cowtown Crown Series Friday and Saturday nights at the 1/4-mile, high-banked, dirt oval. This was Round 1 of the series with Round 2 scheduled to be held November 11 and 12. They were able to get in a full racing program Friday, but Saturdays feature races, except the Limited Modifieds, were cancelled due to rain.
Longview's Tyson Hall, #5x, won both the ASCS2 Non-Wing Mini Sprints and the Outlaw Mini Sprints features Friday night. In Fridays ASCS2 Non-Wing Mini Sprints feature, Steven Shebester, #82, Jeb Sessums, #01j, Harli White, #17w, and Jacob Lucas, #57, rounded out the top five.
In the Outlaw Mini Sprints feature Friday, Blake Hall, #52, Dustin Gates, #6g, Harli White, #17w, and Chance Terrell, #60x, rounded out the top five.
Chance Morton was the Restrictor Mini Sprints feature winner.
Chance Morgton, #7m, was the Restictor Mini Sprints feature winner Friday. Cord Dodson, #7, Ashley Reagan, #87, McKenzie Ramey, #17m, and Aaron Dromgoole, #p40, rounded out the top five.
Brandon Anderson, #55, was the Jr. Mini Sprints feature winner Friday.

Jake UpChurch was the Street Stocks feature winner.
Jake UpChurch, #9, won the Street Stocks feature Friday night with Demetrius Carter, #44, Kenny Bruce Jr., #14, Shawn Byrd, #144, and Kerry Harrison, #54, rounding out the top five.
Randy OHavier was the Bomber feature winner.
Randy OHavier, #16, was the Bomber feature winner Friday with 2011 Cowtown Bomber points champion Trey Smitherman, #96, Tanner Flannagan, #33, Frank Lackey, #41, and Terry OHavier, #6, who celebrated his 70 birthday, rounding out the top five.

Clyde Dunn Jr. had his impressive Modified in the house.
Saturday night, along with the Mini Sprints, the Modifieds and the Limited Modifieds were scheduled to run. The Limited Modifieds were able to get their feature race in, but the Modifieds feature was cancelled due to rain.

Bret Young was the winner of the Limited Modified feature.
Bret Young, #69, was the winner of the Limited Modifieds feature. Justin McCoy, #15, was second, David Ferguson, #164, was third and Doug Easterling, #88, was fourth.
