Boyd Raceway (Boyd)
April 17 (Sunday)
The Texas Lone Star Series came to Boyd Raceway Sunday afternoon for its seventh event. Texas drivers were well represented in the four IMCA divisions along with several out-of-state drivers. With the dry and windy conditions that had sparked several major wildfires in the area, it made for some dry and dusty racing.
Chris Bragg was the IMCA Modifieds feature winner.
Local bragging rights went to Chris Bragg, #24b, in the IMCA Modifieds feature. Starting on the outside front row, Chris quickly took the lead and never gave it up to take the checkered flag and the $400 win. Steven Orebaugu, #05, was second and Sam Cox, #3, was third.
