Keller, TX, Eric Baldaccini, #4, finished in the nineteenth position, but received enough points to rap up the 2010 ASCS Lone Star Region Championship. It was a chilly night at Cowtown Speedway for the first of two nights of racing at the 4th Annual November Sprint Shootout sponsored by City Vending and ShopTheBOSS. Aaron Reutzel, #87, the 2009 ASCS Gulf South Champion, started on the pole and for 28 of the 30-lap Sprint feature it looked like he was going to take the win. But with two laps to go, Gary Taylor, #1x, from Snohomish, WA, who started from the sixth position, worked his way passed Aaron and some lap traffic to take the $2,000 feature win. This was Gary's second American Sprint Car Series win of the year.
Saturday night 50 Sprints will be gunning for the $3,000 feature win and the NSS Championship. Along with the Sprints, there will also be the ASCS2 Winged Outlaw Multi Class, the ASCS2 Non-Wing 600s, the ASCS2 Restricted 600s and the ASCS-2 Midgets and the RaceTX.com Limited Modifieds.
