Triston Dycus $1,500 Modified Winner at Cowtown Speedway

Triston Dycus, #14, was the Modified feature winner.

The O'Reilly National Championship Racing Association Modifieds took on Cowtown's Modifieds Saturday night. There were 30 cars in the pits including Cowtowns current Modified points leader Jared Webb, #15. In the 25-lap feature event, Jared started third, but quickly took the lead. Four laps into the race, Triston Dycus, #14, passed him and was never challenged to take the $1,500 win. Kevin Clement, #32, got the hard charger award coming from fourteenth to third, Glen Leuschner. #89, was fourth and Trevor Lane, #17, was fifth.

Troy Taylor, #56, was the Race TX Limited Modified feature winner. 

Veteran Troy Tayor, #56, held off Sean Jones, #94, to take the Race TX Limited Modifieds feature. Bret Young, #69, Jake UpChurch, #24, and Chance Morris, #6, were your top five.

Kevin Ramey, #7m, was the 600 Mini Sprints feature winner. 

Veteran Kevin Ramey, #7m, picked up another feature win in the 600 Mini Sprints. Andy Hogan, #3d, and Taylor Smitherman, #21t, battled it out for second and third positions. D.J.Estes, #74, and Colby Estes, #71, finished out the top five.

Reagan Reed, #7, was the Restrictor feature winner.

With a few laps to go Ashley Regan, #87, and Bradley Ivie, #99i, were battling it out for first. Going into turn 2, they got tangled up opening the door for Reagan Reed, #7, to take the win. Michele Melton, #21, and Chance Hull, #7h, and Ashley Reagan, #87, finished out the top five.

Ray Tidwell, #25, was the Bomber feature winner. 

It looked like Gary Smitherman, #42, was going for another win. But with a few laps to go, Gary hit a car in turn 4 and was unable to continue. Chad Pearce took the lead, but was passed by Randy O'Havier, #16, and Ray Tidwell, #25, who went on to take the win. Bobby Lee Stepp, #51, was fourth and Trey Smitherman, #96, was fifth.

Gary Harris, #52, was the Lone Star Dwarf Car feature winner. 

In the Lone Star Dwarf Car feature, "Granny's Headache" Gary Harris, #52, took the checkered flag. Terry Boyer, #00, Dominick Polanza, #11, Jim Lewis II, #86, and Troop Miller, #77, were your top five. For more information on the Lone Star Dwarf Club, go to: www.lsdcc.com
