Rainy weather postpones events at local dragways, dirt tracks

Update: Saturday's season-opening events at Cowtown Speedway have been canceled because of the excessive rain the North Texas area has received in the past few days. The speedway has rescheduled the season-opening races for March 21. Go here for more information. Tickets for the rescheduled races are $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-11 and $2 for children ages 3-5.
Cowtown Speedway features 30 race dates on its 2009 schedule. Check out the full schedule here.
